She is 7 and was able to replicate the shown outfits perfectly and without help (one on the provided Barbie, one on her own). The colors and patterns were fun, and the instructions were helpful! The only downside was that when she kept the outfits on the dolls, by the third day they were cracking and breaking off even without touching them. She was sad the outfits had to be thrown away when they were so cute!

It comes with pre-cut play-doh “stamps” for the Barbie’s dress, along with containers of play-doh to make the dress! It also comes with a full size Barbie, as well as a cardboard “fashion closet” that is absolutely adorable. Loved this so much for my 5 and 7 year old, and kept them entertained for HOURS!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Be warned that it does take some time to make and build but the results are worth it! My 7 year old needed some help because there are A LOT of parts! And had to figure out what each tool does. She enjoyed building the PlayDoh outfit and hair! The hair was a funny surprise. She especially loved feeding the playdoh into each tool and mold it or squeeze out to fun shapes. This can take up atleast and hour and a half (even with adult help) so make sure you have enough time to finish the project. After we finished I assumed she would dismantle the outfit but nope. Now weeks later we have a dried out and hard cracked playdoh dress which my daughter does not want to dismantle.

I would say it was a bit of a struggle for my 6 year old but with a little help it turned out cute. My 3 year old tried to do the skirt but it was a bit too challenging for her. I would say this is great for 7 years and older.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Play-Doh Barbie Designer Fashion Show Playset was a hit with my 6-year old. She had a blast creating Barbie’s outfit and putting her on the runway. The packaging had everything needed for two outfits with instructions. There were two “sheets” of play doh to create part of each outfit. They had extra designs on them. These seem to be single use, as you put other play doh molds on top to create Barbie’s fashion and there is no storage solution for the sheets to be reused and not go dry. So my only suggestion would be to provide molds to use any color play doh and keep the set going for a long time. Otherwise, the play-doh provided and other items can be reused over and over, allowing for your child’s creativity to flow to create one-of-a-kind fashion and present Barbie on her runway! Lots of fun and lots of options. You could definitely use this with other Play-doh items to design even more fashion items for Barbie!

My kids were so excited to see all of the fun accessories. The set comes with several molds, tools, and outfits that allow them to get be creative with their designs. They can make very intricate designs. It encourages imaginative play and fine motor skills as they shape skirts, tops, and shoes and other accessories. The Play-Doh is easy to work with and came with multiple colors. We can also add additional Play-Dough packs as well to add even more variety. The packaging is really cute and fun and offers a backdrop. It came well-organized and feels great quality. The molds are easy to clean. Such a fun collaboration with Barbie and Play-Doh.

They were excited to receive a new doll, and immediately got started creating different outfits and looks. The product was intuitive to use, and the instructions were written simply enough for even my 6y to look at them and know how to use the novel parts. The attachments made very pretty and realistic ribbons of “fabric” to create beautiful ruffles and dresses. My 8y said: I’m so glad we got this! One note: the box came taped shut and slightly damaged. The product inside was perfect, but something to note if you’re ordering as a gift.
