At first I thought it might be too easy or for little kids, but my 9 & 12 year olds loved it & actually played with it for 2 hours when we got it. You get to make your own pretend cakes, add layers, and decorate them however you want with frosting tools and cute little molds. They had the most fun using the “oven.” The set comes with lots of tools and different colors, so you can get creative and make something different every time. If you like art, baking shows, or using your imagination, this is a really cool toy.

It comes with a great variety of colors and after teaching her how each aspect of the toy works she gets creative for a long time playing. This is great for young kids who are able to play pretty independently!

Kids love playdough and the kitchen set provided is 100% worth the price. 11 different color play dough and oven is just amazing. Full entertainment for kids and ideas to start rolling. Mixing color is always there and can't be more fun. If u like ur kids spending time outside tv and iPad then this is perfect toy where new ideas can cook in fun and enjoyable way. Plus, the assembly was super easy and very sturdy when using it. I for sure don’t have to worry about my daughter hurting herself if she uses this without me around because there’s nothing she could hurt herself on. Definitely something I would get for the family to do for a family fun night with littles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids (ages 2 and 5) had an amazing time playing with the Play-Doh Super Slice Cake Set! They spent over an hour making pretend cakes, decorating them, and coming up with all sorts of silly creations. It’s seriously awesome that the set lets them actually make a piece of cake that looks like a slice—it’s so satisfying to cut and serve! The tools are really easy for them to use, especially my 5-year-old who got super into decorating. Even my 2-year-old was able to join in and have fun with it (with a little help, of course). I love toys that keep their attention this long without a screen! The only thing I didn’t love is the piping tool—it doesn’t work that great, kind of hard to push the Play-Doh through. But honestly, that’s literally the only flaw. Everything else about this set is so much fun, and it’s perfect for creative, hands-on play. Highly recommend if you’ve got little ones who love pretend baking!

She said, “it has an oven and the Play-Doh is sooo soft!” The pieces are of a hardy thick plastic and the “cake oven” is of a sturdy, high quality product that I expect from the Play-Doh brand.
