Q: Whats different from the normal one does this model have the blue ray player
A: It does not come with it you have to buy it separately the disc drive for it is $80 dollars
submitted by - 8 months agoA: Disc drive is sold separately for physical games and Blu-ray.
submitted byRunsWithScissors - 8 months agoA: better graphics and no blu ray out of the box but you can purchase the stand alone blu ray player later and add it on.
submitted bySchmoey Joey - 9 months agoA: Bigger storage, better graphics, no disc drive, can buy separately
submitted byAndrew - 9 months agoA: This model does not come with a disc drive but you can buy one separately that attaches to it for around $80. The differences from the base PS5 are mostly incremental technical improvements, supporting some games with things like improved framerates, resolution, stability, and graphic capability like ray tracing.
submitted byKyle - 7 months agoA: The PS5 Pro does not have a build in disc drive. You can add a disc drive but it must be purchased separately.
submitted byAlex - 9 months agoA: It’s has ‘slightly’ better speeds and graphics, and lacks a disc drive. I wouldn’t recommend.
submitted bySky Guy - 8 months agoA: Has no good enough upgrades. Need to buy Disc drive AND vertical stand separately. If you do not have a 4K+ TV or monitor, you're just wasting your money as you will not benefit from the "better" graphics. Also, it uses AI graphic renders so its trash. Better to wait for the PS6 and dont waste your money on this garbage PS5 "Pro".
submitted byMilky - 8 months agoA: This model will not have a disc drive with it. You would have to buy the disc drive separately if you wish to.
submitted byrocksar223 - 9 months agoA: This is a more powerful pro model. Essentially, it should hopefully be able to increase resolution, ray tracing detail, and/or framerate in games that support it. No disc drive, sold separately.
submitted bydctravis - 9 months agoA: It clearly says in the description disc less
submitted bydabuuchi - 25 days agoA: This model doesn't come with a disc drive must be purchased seperately difference would be grafics and speed same time no need to pick fidelity or performance mode
submitted bylighthammer - 9 months agoA: All the same games with minor upgrades. I'd say stick with a PS4 Pro/Xbox One X. PS4 Pro/Xbox One X already did 4K Texture Packs and has Performance/Graphics modes with 4K Checkerboarding.

Q: I can use storage or disk with this one?
A: you need to purchase the disc drive add on for this console
submitted bycruz - 7 months agoA: You would have to buy the disk drive separately for 80 plus tax.
submitted byTimbo - 8 months agoA: No disk, only storage on this model.
submitted byEryeal - 8 months agoA: Yes, but you will need to purchase the disc drive. It's roughly 80 usd and installs directly onto the console.
submitted byBluhen - 8 months agoA: M.2 SSD's that worked in the Base PS5 all work on the Pro model. Disc Drive can be purchased seperately or you can take off one from a slim model and put it onto the Pro.
submitted byGame Of Thrones - 8 months agoA: No, unfortunately you can’t
submitted bySky Guy - 8 months ago
Q: Sony expects one to buy a $700+ console that doesn't even have a disc drive or stand. What about USB ports? I shan't be fleeced!
A: yes they come with both types of ports. 🗿🗿🗿🗿
submitted byJoe - 7 months agoA: -1 port on this console
submitted bycruz - 7 months agoA: Hi Alex, thanks for reaching out about PlayStation 5 Pro Console This console features a Blu-Ray disc player and includes a Wireless Controller, USB Cable, Owner's Manual, AC Power Adapter If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
submitted byJustin - 8 months agoTarget expert supportA: The PS5 Pro will have 2 USB Type-C ports in the front and 2 USB Type-A ports in the back. For what it’s worth, the price fits especially with, among other factors, no real console competition from Microsoft or Nintendo. The Pro, like any other pro versions of other electronic devices, is for the hardcore and dedicated. If that’s not you, then there’s nothing wrong with just getting a regular PS5 new or refurbished at a much cheaper price.
submitted byRayMama - 7 months agoA: If you can afford this advanced model buy one. If you can't afford it then don't feel bad because the speed and storage advantages, while noticeable, are not overwhelming. It's top of the line.

Q: What are the major perks between the ps5 pro and the regular version
A: Hi Jdouglas612, thanks for reaching out about PlayStation 5 Pro Console. The PlayStation 5 Pro is a "mid-generation refresh" of the original PS5, meaning it offers an enhanced experience rather than a complete overhaul like a new console generation. Here are the major perks compared to the regular PS5: Significantly More Powerful GPU (Graphics Processing Unit): The PS5 Pro boasts a much more powerful GPU, leading to up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay. This translates to higher and more consistent frame rates, especially in graphically demanding games. Improved ray tracing capabilities, resulting in more realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows in supported games. PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR): This is a key new feature, an AI-powered upscaling technology similar to NVIDIA's DLSS or AMD's FSR. PSSR allows the PS5 Pro to render games at a lower resolution and then upscale them to 4K (or even 8K in some cases) with enhanced visual clarity while maintaining high frame rates. This means you can get both sharp visuals and smooth performance simultaneously in "PS5 Pro Enhanced" titles. Increased Storage: The PS5 Pro comes with a 2TB SSD as standard, double the storage of the PS5 Slim (1TB) and significantly more than the original PS5 (825GB). This is a big plus for gamers with large game libraries, as game sizes continue to grow. Faster Wi-Fi: The PS5 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, a newer and faster wireless standard than the Wi-Fi 6 found in the regular PS5. This can lead to quicker downloads and more stable online gaming, provided you have a compatible Wi-Fi 7 router. Enhanced Performance for Existing Games (PS5 Pro Game Boost): While the biggest improvements will be seen in games specifically optimized for the PS5 Pro, Sony states the console can also improve the performance, stability, and quality of many PS4 games through backward compatibility. Who is the PS5 Pro for? The PS5 Pro is primarily aimed at: Gamers with high-end 4K or 8K TVs: To fully appreciate the visual enhancements and PSSR, a capable display is essential. Performance enthusiasts: Those who prioritize the absolute best frame rates, visual fidelity, and ray tracing. "Future-proofers": If you want your console to remain cutting-edge for as long as possible into the generation. PlayStation VR2 users: The added power of the Pro can lead to smoother and more immersive VR experiences. Who might be fine with the regular PS5? Casual gamers: If you're happy with the existing PS5's performance and don't have a high-end display, the standard PS5 still offers an excellent experience. Budget-conscious buyers: The regular PS5 is significantly more affordable. Those who primarily play less graphically demanding games. In essence, the PS5 Pro is about pushing the boundaries of visual fidelity and performance on consoles, offering a premium experience for those willing to invest in it.
