We love this screen because it has magnetic doors that won't swing open inadvertently and is very sturdy.

The screen fit perfectly in the fireplace . The doors open and close nicely.

We love it! Looks so good in our den. We had to bend the feet to make it stand flush to the fireplace, but that was easy. Great quality. Our daughter in law wants one for their fireplace!

We bought two for a double sided fireplace. There were a few flaws in the mesh and one doesn't fit flush against the fireplace but they are attractive and will work.

Don't write many reviews but very pleased with the classic look of this fire screen in our pre war NYC apartment. Safe of course and also easy to put together (pay attention to directions for back bottom support). The marketplace is filled with junky firescreens so we were pleased to find this one.

The product has a serious problem - the doors on the screen are flimsy, they do not align properly, they do not create a close and secure connection when they are closed and the hinges on the doors are not strong enough to provide any consistency with the movement of the doors. The design of the screen is attractive but without the doors functioning it is a problem. If I am going to keep this fireplace screen I will have to modify the hinges and/or where the doors meet when they close to insure that the screen keeps sparks from flying out and to insure that the doors stay closed when a fire is burning in the fireplace.

This fits beautifully on our fireplace and instantly made the room look more finished. It's easy to open/close doors and they are hung nicely. Sturdy enough that I feel safe with it around our young children - it won't fall over. It is simple and beautiful and I feel really good about our choice.

Overall product looks good from a distance. However the doors don't match up, which is a detail you would expect for the price and the description of craftsmanship.

The drill hole for the left leg of screen was 1/16-1/8"" off vs right leg so when assembled left leg did not rest on ground, but instead hovered above it a fraction of an inch. Could not adjust to stop the ""wobble"" and was not impressed with overall quality so returned screen.

Easy to install and well-made. The bronze color looks great. The doors offer the added security of our playful cat not knocking a flammable toy into the fireplace! Thanks for a quality item at an affordable price!

This screen is beautiful but I bought it to keep the sparks in the fireplace and the doors won't stay closed so it isn't working as intended. The magnets worked for about 2 fires then stopped so you have to put something in front of the doors to keep it closed which is a hassle.

The attatchment system for the legs is very poorly designed. The back legs would not go on at all. I had to drill the holes lower on my drill press and then bend the legs. I had to bend the front legs to get them to touch the floor. The little wrench that comes with it is useless. The lock nuts are very tight and you will need to use your own 7/16 wrench. The doors close well, but one of the hinge nuts came off after the first use. The doors are nice in that you don't have to move the whole unit to add logs, but you still have to move it to sweep the debris off your hearth into the fireplace

Bought this screen as gift after ordering one for our own fireplace. So easy to add firewood now without removing screen. Very well built and received it promptly.

I had to file down a burr on the right handle and doors were not aligned evenly.

Spent a lot of time unpacking and putting together only to notice after all the work that one of the hinges was not soldered properly and wasn't in tact so it all had to be packed back up and ret'd.....a HUGE hassle for us! We're unhappy!

Fits perfectly! Looks good and feels sturdy! Made the hubby happy to have the doors open 180 degrees which makes tending to the fires so much easier.
