Really really glitchy
My daughter is 7 and very careful and gentle with her toys. This toy she has been obsessed with then it got really glitchy. The arms or ears get stuck and it makes a weird motor noise. It'll keep saying "pi-pi-pi-pi-pi" over and over again. She a heartbroken and doesn't understand why it is doing that and thinks she did something wrong. I told her she didn't (we got it at the end of May and gave it to her birthday end of July and after just a few days it's been glitchy. Not sure what to do. Yes I tried battery stuff. Batteries also aren't super tight in there. They spring out often.

How are rhe reviews so high?
Besides nostalgic points, this toy sucks. It says the same phrase in different ways and my kid was bored after about an hour. Very cute idea, but not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pikachu is a favorite in the household, and especially since the movie came out. Safe to say, my 4 kids were pretty excited when this lil dude was delivered. I am pretty impressed about what this little thing can do... Especially with his moving parts and light up cheeks with certain interactions. My kids have spent hours playing with him already, making him talk, blush, eat, sing and 'dance' It's a bit sad he isn't quite as cuddly as he should be, but as a parent, I'm glad he is also tough and easily cleaned if needs be. I'm not certain we've had the 50 different interactions it claims to do, but overall, my kids love him and he seems like he will last a long time, so I am happy too! Now for an interactive Psyduck and Charmander and my lot will be set for a good few years lol

His checks light up and his tail and arms move when its happy or dancing, Pikachu also gets sleepy. This Interactive toy brings joy and companion to my son thru out the day. He comes with 2 interactive accessories food items an apple and a strawberry. Pikachu reacts to your voice and can be trained to react 50 different times. My son is having so much fun it is cute when he discovers a new reaction. Pikachu voice is so sweet and extra cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really enjoy playing with this Pokémon Pikachu! They like that they can feed him with the apple or strawberry and how he responds differently to each object. I think it’s cool how Pikachu responds to our voices! Pikachu is a good size and fits well in children and adult hands. The glowing cheeks is really adorable.
