A: Pooph Litterizer does not work by dehydrating the litter box contents. Instead, it uses a powerful, non-toxic formula that neutralizes odor molecules on contact, without masking them with fragrance. It’s completely safe for pets and people, and won’t alter the texture or moisture level of your litter.
As for fruit flies, while Litterizer helps eliminate the odor that may attract them, it’s not specifically designed as a pest deterrent. To prevent fruit flies from gathering around the litter box, we recommend keeping the area clean and dry, scooping regularly, and ensuring no food or waste is lingering nearby.

Works Amazing, Dont Listen to the Complainers, They are using it wrong
This product works - full stop. I have three cats, so I use a bit more than the minimum, sprinkle it on once a day, rake it in, and the harsh urine smell disappears. The litter box ends up smelling like nothing at all, which is exactly what you want. Most negative reviews come down to misuse or unrealistic expectations. If you use too little, it won’t be effective. And no, this doesn’t replace scooping—nothing does. You still need to clean the box regularly, ideally a few times a day, especially with multiple cats. What it does do is eliminate the strong, lingering odor from the litter. That’s its job, and it does it well. If you’re expecting it to magically replace basic litter box maintenance, you’re setting it up to fail.

Worse product ever!!!!!!
Wish I could give it zero stars!! Had just cleaned out my cat’s box and added new litter (too expensive litter and this product messed everything up so horribly!) Clumped into some snowish type mess, had to throw the brand new litter away and start all over again. Used as directed on the package. Had some really high hope and was so disappointed. Wish I could get my money back; too expensive to have this happen. Would definitely not recommend and will not be buying again.

MESSY - Clumps into snow type bits
Use this as direction on a brand new litter box with fresh litter. Next morning woke up to strange snow looking pieces all over the floor. Open the litterboxes and it's all over the top layer of the litter. Made a horrible mess. No way to know if it controlled order since the litter was brand new, but I will not continue to use based on the mess alone!

Wish I knew about this sooner
I was already a huge fan of the odor eliminator, it has been amazing getting rid of the pee smells I couldn't ever get rid of before, but man oh man, this product is AMAZING too. My cat's litterbox stink has disappeared once we started using it so 1 - cleaning the box is SOOOOO much nicer, I don't have to hold my breath when scooping out the waste and 2 - we have to change the entire litter box less often! LIFE SAVER FOR CAT LOVERS!
