This product can be used with any MagSafe case made for iPhone 12's and newer models (including Pro, Plus and Pro Max). And now, each PopSocket MagSafe Grip includes an adapter ring to give any phone without MagSafe capabilities (i.e. Android/Pixel/Samsung/legacy iPhone case (or any non-MagSafe case) the ability to use magnetic phone accessories. Apply the adapter ring the outside/back of your case to enable magnetic grip technology. Works on MOST cell phone cases - NOT compatible with silicone, textured or anti-fingerprint coated cases. I love popsockets and have used them for years, but this most recent popsocket I purchased, after the last one I had broke, broke within three weeks. I'm really surprised, since I never had one break prior to the switch to magsafe, and I'm wondering if there's been some kind of change in the plastic used for the popsocket itself. I loved using my popsocket, and it was a true accessibility tool for me. I hope to be able to purchase another and not have this happen, but I have very low expectations, sadly.

It rattles!

Soon after purchase, a plastic ring inside the pop socket broke and now it rattles whenever I pick up my phone. The broken ring doesn’t seem to affect how the pop socket functions. It just has an annoying rattle now.

Sticker adhering to the phone is garbage

The base (sticker) is supposed to stick to the phone, and the popsocket is magnetic, so it's SUPPOSED to be removeable, so you can still charge your phone on a charging pad. Well, the magnet is too strong, and when you gently try to take the top off, the sticker adhered to the phone immediately comes off. This was a huge waste of money.

Love this! Bought this style to replace one that I lost. The magnet is super strong. I don’t need that little adapter thing it came with, I just stuck it to my case and voila. The only time I remove my pop socket is at night, when I put my phone on my magsafe charging stand. Highly recommend!

The socket worked really well at first but after about a month i notice i could not hold the phone just by the pop socket. The socket would come off the phone which would result in me dropping the phone. It can be use to help with gripping the phone while typing but after a while of using it, it might not be that strong or sturdy to use by itself when holding the phone or taking pictures.

I’ve been a huge fan of pop sockets since day one of them being made, today after having this pop socket I’m disappointed. Cheap adhesive most likely the cause of this to happen, I swear I’ve dropped my other switchable pop sockets. I’ve torched them at work etc and NEVER had this happen to any of the pop sockets. I wish I can have a replacement but yet it’s probably going to be with cheap glue so here’s my honest review to this particular pop socket.
