Bought this kit 2 years ago to finish my basement with. Works awesome. Have used for many jobs since and haven't had any issues. One battery died after 2 years and warranty replacement was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

The only complaint I have so far after 3 months is the battery charger quit working. Thankfully I got one battery charged before it quit. I haven't used the drill much. I don't know what I will do when my charged battery is used up. I called DeWalt and all I get is we are closed.

I have dropped the impact drill from an 8 foot ladder and after looking at the drill, I knew I made the right purchase - not even a scratch. Solid performer and glad i got the kit with two batteries, as I can be recharging one while I keep working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these tools. My two (minor) complaints are : 1) the impact driver gets quite hot with use, indicating that it probably needs better cooling. This may shorten the life, but it's been working hard for me for a couple years now. 2) the 3 LEDs on the impact driver are great but the single LED on the drill is mounted such that the chuck cats a shadow at the point of business. Better than no LED but could be better.

I've used them for both construction and automotive applications and they have never failed me yet. One of my favorite things about them is the 20v Max battery. It's a powerful battery and they are long lasting and work for a multitude of tools. Right now the only other 20v max tool I have is an angle grinder but I will definitely be buying more 20v max tools.
