Q: how long is the clothesline once you extend it. specifications say 8", but i assume it's longer than that

It’s fine, I guess. Getting the line to stay at the desired length can be a little tricky, especially since one of the carabiners broke on the second or third use. Not super sturdy construction.

Totally irritated, complete waste of money. Does not include way to actually mount to the wall!! What is the point of this?? I'm actually pretty outraged. There's ZERO reason for it to not come with mounting hardware as it's quite literally useless without it.
Good but wish clips detached from the line.

This clothesline comes in handy, and does hold a lot of clothes. I find it annoying that the clips don't come off though - so you can't hang clothes over the line and clip them to be secured, you just use the clip to hang them. I was using this in a hotel room - so no winds were gusting, but if I were camping I think that would be annoying and I'd lose my clothes. The manual crank and tie to secure are rudimentary but work well.

This is a nice clothesline! Feel substantial and not flimsy. We haven’t had a chance to put it up as we’re putting a new deck in and this is intended to hang out side. I did receive this as part of the Hey Bullseye program in exchange for my honest opinion.
So useful for those with minimal space.

I don't have a yard or much space to dedicate to hanging my clothes to dry, but this makes it so easy to create a temporary drying line. It's retractable so it can be as short or long as you need and I especially like that it comes with clips attached so there is no need to keep pins around. Perfect for my delicates that can't go in the drying machine. Comes with everything you need, including the carabineers. All you need is something to hook it on to or to tie around.

Aqu outside or inside plastic portable retractable clothesline is easy to put up in a minute. I put outside on my 2 chain fences that line up together and received a lot of sun. It held the wet clothes up with out pulling it down. I see this in a hotel room if you need a quick dry
