Q: Will the 16 x 20 frame structurally support glass if I substitute the acrylic for glass? Will the frame accommodate 8 PLY (0.125″) mat board and 2.5 mm glass? In other words, what is depth of rabbet?

Q: I have a poster that is 13x17 will it fit in the 12x18 frame but just not show part of the poster. I really like the wood frame and am hoping it would fit since the dimensions of the frame itself is 21x17.

Unfortunately after opening the poster frame we noticed multiple scratches on the plexiglass. They should have a protective film the buyer takes off to prevent this. Will return/exchange and hopefully they will take back opened.

These poster frames make a great addition to any room. You can print posters and match them to your theme and they look beautiful in these frames. They are neutral and chic. They have held up well. The top piece is plastic material, not glass, so keep that in mind. This does help make them very lightweight though, which is something I wanted for my child's bedroom.

Does not fit a standard archival mat. Back closure swings into a groove in the frame. Your artwork in the mat needs to be exactly that thickness in order to lock in the black backing. Acrylic cannot be replaced without damaging frame. This means if you scratch the acrylic you have to replace entire frame. This is an MDF frame. White frame has very cool undertones. I bought two, opened one to find this information, now have to make separate trip to return the unopened one because it does not fit the standard archival mat. Basically, this is a frame for an image you care little about.

Nice and simple frame for hanging posters. I collect concert posters and I like that these are light (only one hole in my apartment walls!) and I find that after having bought ten or so, the quality control is better than frames from stores like Michaels, where I would often receive broken and damaged frames. These aren’t fancy by any means but they’re a good value and they’re great if you are a collector and need a dozen frames that all match without breaking the bank.

Awesome, v v sturdy quality frames for when you've aged out of taping posters to the wall in your school bedroom! They have attached hardware to be hung portrait or landscape orientation. I prefer to hang using 3M sticky strips for easy repositioning.

I had the old version of this frame and it was a thicker sturdy frame . The very same skunhas been changed into something so flimsy with a cardboard backing and a piece of acrylic in the front so thin it could be used for cling wrap. Very disappointing.
