The Play and Charge Kit for Xbox includes two 1100 mAh rechargeable batteries for up to 40 hours of gameplay with an Xbox Wireless Controller.* With the flexibility to charge while in controller or out, you can either keep a backup battery charged and ready, or power up a 2-player gaming session. Q: is this compatible with the xbox X wireless controller? My xbox series x controllers have a square notch in the battery case but the new one I got for Christmas has an angled notch. Will this fit?

A: Hello, we cannot guarantee that this will be compatible with 1914 controller. As of the moment, the controller is only compatible with Xbox One and Windows.

Idk if I got a bad pack or something but these are absolutely horrible. The battery does not last long at all. I have to play plugged in basically all the time. I’m not playing but for maybe two hours at a time. And when it dies, I have to completely reconnect my controller to my Xbox. I don’t even know how this got good ratings. I don’t have a fancy controller, it’s just a basic Xbox controller for Xbox series s.

It has been a month, and these bad boys are still going strong, reducing our battery use significantly. They continue to maintain a full charge and last well throughout hours of game play. Would recommend, especially if you're running through AA batteries left and right like we were. Even if they were to go bad after a few months, they would have paid for themselves several times over.

I guess I’ll be the first real review since everyone else either got it free or at a discount, controller is not picking up any battery after I fully charged them. It’s a pain having to go back to store and exchange, I’ll just return. I bought the newer usb c model.

I decided to try these because I was frankly tired of buying batteries for my son's controller all the time - even the individual rechargable batteries that I was purchasing didn't seem to hold up well to charging. From Day One, my son loved these. Not only are they simple to "install" (you literally just place them where your batteries go), but I absolutely loved the fact that the batteries could be charged while in the controller. This made it simple for my son to pick up his controller and press a few buttons to get the app up that he needed and he didn't have to wait for the batteries to be fully charged. Although we haven't had these for an enormous amount of time, we have had them long enough for me to observe that these Play & Charge kits take charging a whole lot better than the single batteries that we have used in the past. I couldn't recommend these enough for Xbox owners!

Easy to use, they charge fast & the charge lasts for a good amount of time!

The only problem I have now is getting the kids to keep them charged! lol. But they do charge fast and easily. Haven’t heard a word about batteries in weeks! I love these. I highly recommend!

So far I have not. He is able to have one charging and use the other one to play. It is also nice because occasionally his sister or I join him in games. So we can easily attach to the controller. I am hoping it continue to last since it is working so well right now. Charges quickly as well. Wished I would have gotten it sooner.

You can even leave the battery in one of your controllers and the plug goes straight in. So not only am I never buying batteries again, I literally never have to take a battery out or put it into the back of a controller again. Awesome! Highly recommended for anyone who loves their XBOX.
