Q: Can the inserts be cut to fit?

submitted by minn87 - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi minn87! Thank you for you question. Yes, the insoles can be trimmed to fit. For best fit, remove existing insole from shoe and insert PowerStep bridge insole. Using the original insole as a guide, trim bridge insole to desired fit. Position the bridge insole against the back of shoe, holding it in place as you slide in your foot.

I have plantar fasciitis and these have made a big different in my progress. These paired with a good pair of sneakers and most of my pain went away. I have bought multiple so I can put them In all my shoes.

My podiatrist had suggested this brand on a different model but I decided to give this a try since these were cheaper and let me tell you that I instantly felt better. I think my husband heard me say that they are comfortable like 10 times in a row the 1st day I wore them!

These had great reviews, and while the support is great, they are not very comfortable. They are hard, and my feet hurt after a couple hours. It needs more cushion.

These powerstep bridge adaptable insoles are very easy to install into your favorite pair of shoes. They really help my feet, as I am severely flat footed! I love them, they give me great support for my arches, and I can stand on my feet all day.

Short-lived

These insoles feel fine in my shoes, but they do not last long. I walk an hour every day, and in only 2.5 months I have almost worn out the heel of the insole. I probably won't buy them again because they just aren't durable.

I used these when I was pregnant. I thought they helped. The issues i had though was cutting it to make it fit and it made my shoes more snug. But that could've also been because my feet were a bit swollen too! I thought this product was just ok.

These Powerbridge insoles are wonderful. I have lower back issues, so I need inserts in my shoes to help with pain when standing for a while. These offer great arch support and are very comfortable. They also fit perfectly into my shoes. I couldn’t even tell they were there. Definitely using these constantly in my gym shoes.

Extremely comfortable and easy to swap from show to show. I love them so much I bought additional pairs so I wouldn't have to swap them out anymore. Very very supportive and have lasted months so far with plenty of life left.

Training your feet back to where they should be

For years, I've worn high heels to work. Then I stopped when I started working from home. Now it's flat slip-on shoes, sandals, or sneakers for outside or just socks around the house. At one point, I developed a bunion on my left foot due to ill-fitting flat shoes. I've also had plantar fasciitis off and on in both heels. Now I wear arch support socks and shoes even when just inside the house. My feet were getting better. THEN I got these PowerStep Bridge shoe inserts. Awesome! I've worn them now for 10 days and my feet and legs are totally happy! These shoe inserts definitely have the arch support that I need. They're also very cushiony. Be sure to remove your shoe's original inserts that came with them and replace with these PowerStep inserts. Highly recommend them over the usual drugstore shoe inserts.

I’ve had these insoles in my shoes for over a week now and they’re great! I’ve had different insoles in the past and some either had to high of an arch or to little, but not these powersteps! I’m on my feet all day for work, and even after day 1, my feet or my legs weren’t killing me after a long work day. They’re the perfect amount of support and don’t leave that awkward ache in your foot after you’ve worn insoles all day. I had to trim the top to fit my shoes because it comes as a range for shoe sizes. My only quirk about them is that my foot sits up higher in the shoe, which I personally don’t like the feeling. Other than that, I think these are amazing! If you’re on your feet all day, I highly recommend these!

I got these for my husband for his work shoes. He’s on his feet on concrete floors 10-12 hours a day. He said they’ve been really comfortable and are holding up well. He has been wearing them for almost 2 months now. I think the reinforced arch support helps a lot.

Sneaker Insoles

About 2.5 years ago, I had my Achilles tendion repaired and finding comfortable shoes after surgery was a problem. I still have pain when I walk and stand , so my surgeon recommended that I wear insoles or heel cups to take pressure off the surgery location. These are nice insoles because they have a harder structured support with cushion surrounding the harder support. Helps take the pressure and pain off my heels and feet.

Powerstep Bridge Adaptable Arch Support Insoles. I got these to use in my husbands shoes. He does tons of walking but won’t except that vans or flat soled shoes are not for the over 35 crowd. When on your feet for 9 pluses hours. They have held up over a month of walking and switching to different shoes.

The insoles are easy to use, just take out your current ones and slide the new ones in. The arch is a little high, but once I got used to them, they weren't so bad. The heals weren't super comfortable. I would only purchase again if my current insoles were damaged. These are average.

These inserts to me are just ok. I have many feet problems and am on them a lot for work. At first I think I did notice a difference but after a week or two I didn’t notice much. Would try them in non work shoes and may have better results.

Insoles very easy to cut to fit my shoes. Slipped old insole out to use as pattern. They slipped into the shoes easily. Seem a little wide at the heel but perhaps I'll try trimming that later. Very comfortable when I put the shoes on. Feels soft and flexible. There's a firmness to them but not so hard that they resist against movement.

I wanted to give these insoles a good length of time before my review. I suffer from plantar facitis and a good insole is a must. These are very cushioning and has great arch support. I feel like they spring back well when you first start wearing them, leading to more days of comfortable feet! They also keep my feet from sweating as bad as they typically would have. These did start to break down a little bit over a month into having them. They still have decent support and they still have great cushion but my feet will be more tired by the end of the day than in the beginning. I do like them and plan to purchase another pair as they did bring relief.

These were not too bad. They were not as supportive as I thought they would be from the brand. The one thing I did dislike was the squeak everytime I would take a step. I even added powder to try and stop it but it did not help.

Cushioned Insoles

These insoles are made of a cushiony popcorn type top part and a blue molded bottom outer support that are glued together tightly enough that they will not come apart. They provide another layer of protection for your feet and arches, recommended and trimmable to size.
