A: These wipes ruined my lenses. I just paid $250. for new lenses because the lenses had become foggy. I was told it's not the formula but the actual paper/cloth wipe that does the damage.

The new wipes are too wet. They leave streaks all over your glasses that you then need to wipe off with a tissue. The old wipes (white box) were the best! Bring them back!

These reformulated/redesigned box (purple box) of wipes are way too wet. The previous version (white box) were the perfect amount of wet. Cleaned quickly with no streaks. These new wipes are so bad. You have to wait for the wipe to evaporate a little before using otherwise it leaves major steaks. Or wipe streaks away with a different damp towel afterwards. Trying to wipe streaks with a dry cloth afterwards only smears the solution and creates a cloudy mess. Also the wipes are slightly smaller in size. The previous version was my absolute favorite and now I have to search for a new wipe. What a disappointment!! I hope Target pays attention bc nothing but bad reviews on the new version. If they remove the reviews from the previous version it’ll probably be 100% one star bad reviews.

These used to be the only lens wipes we would buy. 4 of us in my family wear glasses so I would buy 2 boxes every few months - and since the boycott, this was one of the only things I would actually break the boycott for. Not anymore! These are quite literally SO BAD. They leave solution all over the lens so you have to wipe them with a cloth afterwards. Completely wet! Defeats the purpose! The packaging is appealing but the product is a waste.

These used to be the BEST glasses wipes, and now they’re terrible. The new formulation in the purple box is way too saturated, I have to fan them to get the alcohol to mostly evaporate before using them because they leave streaks like crazy if you use them as-is. The new paper they’re made of is also less soft. So sad I have to go back on the hunt for good lens wipes.

I am here to join the chorus of disappointment that they changed the formula and lens wipe quality. The scent is now lingering and headache inducing and the lens wipes are wayyy too wet and leave smears. I barely get anything from target anymore and the lens wipes were one of the few products I’d actually go there to buy. Why take a years long solid product and make it worse? No one did a comparison test before rollout?

I loved this product until the last time I bought them. Suddenly wipe was too wet, and if you don’t wipe when wet it will dry with spots. Even after I have to use a towel or dry lens wipe to try to make the lens clean. Bring back the old formula.
