Premier Pet Fox Den Automatic Cat Toy - White

I got this toy and it is broken. The motor goes but tail doesn’t move. So disappointing this would’ve been so cool.

My cat lived it for about 10 minutes and then ripped the tail off. It's held on by a tiny string and the string stretches if they catch it and rip it off. I tried putting it back on but it's completely useless. 100% was of money

I really wanted to like this toy! Unfortunately, there is no mechanism for when cat claws inevitably stick into the toy and get dragged in, resulting in your cat getting scared and/or hurt. I'm a big fan of the interactive toys and had been eyeing this for months but after hearing my boy scream after his claw stuck into the toy and it nearly sucked him in, I'd rather get my money back. If you do get this toy, supervise their EVERY move with it.

My kitten was afraid of it at first. The motor is moderately loud, so I can see why he was afraid. Once he got used to it, he'll bat at it and watch intently. The motion sensor is very sensitive and has a wide cone of effect.

My cat likes the toy a lot but it’s definitely one of those toys you bring out every once and a while or they will get bored of it. It’s loud for sure but it may actually be an engaging aspect. I recommend!

My cat gets board Easily, so it might be her. But she does not play with it much now. And it’s loud, especially on tile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of this toy, but it needs some changes. This makes a loud noise every time the tail moves, which terrifies my cats. After several minutes they relaxed and started playing. Two of the cats caught the tail with their claws and their paws were sucked into the hole when they didn’t let go. This scared them and they drug the toy until they could release their claws and get free. I am concerned by that and would prefer a toy where the tail didn’t suck back inside. Other than that, it’s easy to turn on and the outside is made of sturdy plastic.

It’s also safer than some other toys so you don’t need to pay much attention or have supervised time with the toy. I loved this so much we decided to gift one for our friends for Christmas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was interesting to see my Sunny Girl discover this new toy. She's a couple years old and newly adopted in August to join my elder cat Sugar (about 19+ years), who has little interest because he's done it all before. Sugar watched though, as Sunny watched, then attacked the tail coming out. She turned herself upside down and got close to see inside, then reached in to try to catch 'it' and pull 'it' out. Fun to watch her and she does this even when it's turned off! I do wish there was a way to have it go off on it's own once an hour or so, but it works well except it will eat batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got The Premier Pet Fix Den Automatic Toy a couple weeks ago and my cat loves it! He sits and watches it and then pounces to get the fox tail. It never fails to get his attention. My one year older loves to sit and watch the fox tail also. The only thing pro-con is that the cat does flip it sometimes but that’s because he gets so excited. Battery Operated and has a timer you can set so it’s not just a one and done type. Super cute. Super easy to use.

Mine were curious at first then started to swat at it, then bite the tail. Cute addition to the other cat toys I have for my two cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my premier pet fox den automatic cat toy about two weeks ago and my cats absolutely love this toy. At first they were a little apprehensive about it but once they started playing with it they wanted to play all day. Very easy to operate has a self timer so you don't wear out your batteries and you can just set it down and go about your day.

In an effort to get him moving a little more, I got this automatic cat toy so it’s a little more engaging. To my surprise, he absolutely loved it! Because it’s automatic and randomly comes out of the den, he loves jumping out and try to grab it. I highly recommend!

I usually can't get him to play with anything, but he was really interested with this toy. He played with it for a while but then got bored (though this is seriously just because he's so lazy). The toy is easy to set up (just need 3 AA batteries). The tails whips out in unpredictable patterns to keep it interesting. My one complaint is that I wish it was slightly heavier/had some weight to it. One of my cats dragged it across the room, which is good as far as exercise goes but I'm worried that'll tear it up faster. Overall though I am really satisfied with this cat toy!

Most of my kitties really enjoyed this Premier Pet Fox Den Automatic Cat Toy. The toy was easy to set up, you just pop in batteries and turn it on. The fox tail actually has a unique pattern, so it's not just back and forth. It goes in and out and pauses intermittently as well. This helps keep the cats entertained for longer, so it's a great feature. The only thing that didn't work with some of my cats is how loud this toy is. The noise scared them. I was able to find a fix for this by covering the entire white dome with a kitchen towel. This actually made all the cats a bit more interested and I think it made the tail look a little more realistic. Overall, this is a unique and fun cat toy that my cats enjoy. If the product were a little quieter, I'd give it 5 stars!

Once she warmed up to it, she has been none stop playing with it when I turn it on for her. It comes with two modes. One mode is for a ten minute one time play and another is for a six hour, on and off type of play. As soon as she hears the beep of me turning it on, she comes running. She is most active at night so I'll turn it on for her before I go to bed with the six hour mode and come morning, I'll find it pushed across the back room from all the playing she has been doing with it. She loves to hunt and you can see her eyes get so big when the tail pops out and whips around. She jumps, pounces and rolls around it. The noise of it being an automatic cat toy doesnt bother her at all and honestly I dont even really notice it as its not horribly loud. If you have an active cat, especially one who loves to hunt or chase things, this is the toy for them!
