A: Brand leader said 800 GSM, this does not measure height, but weight. So this is like a plush towel, maybe 1.5 mm thick which is about 0.0591 inches…. So not very thick.

It’s fine. Definitely overpriced and overpromising on the thickness. It feels more like a polyester quilt or picnic blanket than a cushioned play mat. Two things are true though: the non-slip dots on the bottom actually do work really well and it is washable like a blanket. But the thickness is disappointing, especially if you’re looking to use on hard wood floors with a little kid. I ended up buying two 15mm fitness mats and laying this blanket on top and that felt much better.
