A: I don't think this is gluten free with the oats. I've been using this on my face the last couple of days, not realizing it contained oats and I'm have cross contamination symptoms.

My skin is so dry it overproduces oil but hydrating cleansers are usually too slimy and makes my face feel sticky. This is the perfect middle where it hydrates my skin enough while leaving it feeling clean after. I always double cleanse with a balm first, then prequel, then wipe my face with toner on cotton after to be sure.

I have rosacea and I was looking for a facial cleanser that wouldn't irritate my skin. Even though I was using cleansers for sensitive and even rosacea-prone skin, they were still irritating. This cleanser is endorsed by the National Rosacea Society as being safe for rosacea sufferers, so I decided to give it a try. It's perfect for my skin! It cleanses without drying or stripping. It even washes off my makeup and waterproof mascara, eliminating the need for makeup remover (and possible irritant). It's also a good value, as one pump is enough to thoroughly cleanse my face.

Really good cleanser. Removed most of my waterproof mascara at the end of the day, left my skin feeling very clean, but not too tight. After I wash at night I follow up with the moisture serum, urea moisturizer and my retinal. I think it's going to last a long time which makes it a great value!

Started out loving this when my skin barrier was compromised — it felt gentle and soothing while I was adjusting to tretinoin and azelaic acid. But once my skin stabilized and I was wearing SPF and makeup again, this cleanser just didn’t cut it. It left a weird film and didn’t fully clean my skin, which led to clogged pores and new breakouts. Might be okay for ultra-sensitive skin, but definitely not for oily or acne-prone skin wearing makeup. Had to switch to something stronger.

Pros: - price point for the amount of product you get makes sense. It's been 2 months of daily use and I barely put a dent in this. - very moisturizing, great for tretinoin users and dry/combo skin Cons: - it does not cleanse the skin properly. If I did not follow up with a toner on a cotton pad, I would've never noticed
