Sweet, savory, breakfast, or just want your kids t
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is cool if you have time and space to spare for it. My kids LOVE when I make them waffle bowls and that alone makes it kinda worth it. It's a weekend kinda deal because the setup and cleanup are definitely more than your typical waffle situation. It does work really well as a way to get my kiddos to eat fruit (since it's in the bowl, and they have to eat through the contents before they can eat the "bowl") and maybe some yogurt and less of the sugary syrup. The novelty of the bowl but the familiarity of a waffle could definitely be a way to get kids to eat healthier. On the other side of the spectrum, my husband LOOOOVES a waffle bowl filled with scrambled eggs mixed with bacon and sausage and topped with syrup. So whatever you want it to hold, it'll do a good job of it- it just takes a little more work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not too sure if the product I got was defective or it’s the product itself, but I couldn’t get it to cook the waffles and then when it did it burnt them I only used it once cause I couldn’t get the waffles out overall seem like a good product wanted to use it to make my kids ice cream bowls

Pretty decent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First waffle maker I've ever purchased. I like the size of waffle it makes. Large enough waffles for two to eat while more is being cooked. Waffles cook quick in about 3-4 minutes. Have'nt found the right recipe yet. Have not tried making waffle mix which came with the product. Product seems durable and doesn't make much of a mess and is easy to clean. No issue with timer as it seems to work just fine. Only problem I've found so far is with the locking system for storage. Locking lever really doesn't lock and with little movement with base the lever releases easily. Overall we are satisfied with the product and look forward to many waffle meals to come

There are so many ways to use it with so many different toppings/fillings that you can make it sweet for dessert, or savory for dinner or breakfast! I was surprised at the nice compact size, since most of my appliances take up so much room. It’s a perfect addition to my home. We love it!

Fun and Compact, But Be Mindful of Hot Latches and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Presto Belgium Waffle Bowl Maker for a little while now, and overall, I’m pretty impressed with it. The compact design is a major plus—it doesn’t take up much counter space and is super easy to store when not in use. The unique bowl shape is really fun, opening up the possibility to make not just waffles, but a variety of sweet or savory treats. You could create waffle bowls for ice cream, fruit, or even something like a taco bowl—definitely versatile! One downside I’ve noticed is that the batter tends to stick to the top, which affects the bowl shape. I’m wondering if it’s the batter I’m using, so I’ll try a different recipe to see if that fixes the issue. Also, the appliance gets pretty hot when trying to open the latch after the waffle is done, so be careful when handling it right after use. Despite these minor issues, it’s still a great appliance for anyone who loves waffles with a creative twist!

If you are using a non-stick spray with the waffle batter, we recommend not using it. The spray can actually become tacky over time and cause the food to stick. Fast and easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who loves waffles, this waffle bowl maker is super fun to use and get creative with. It doesn’t take long to make the waffle bowls. Just a couple of minutes. I did have to spray it so the pancake mix wouldn’t stick to the bowl plates. But as long as you wipe it down afterwards, it works perfectly fine. Easier to clean than a normal waffle maker in my opinion. And no buttons to worry about. Just plug it in and once it’s heated up, the light will turn on. Then just pour your waffle mix to the line and close it up. It’s that easy. Thank you so very much for sending this to me. It was like a Christmas present!

Great little gadget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only use this product once so far, but if you follow the instructions, it’s fairly easy to use. I didn’t have any issues with sticking and I was able to easily and quickly make a waffle bowl. The unit does heat up so make sure you only touch it Where you’re supposed to. I don’t think it will burn you, but you do feel some heat as it’s operating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size and shape of the waffle bowl maker is good and easy to store away in a cupboard. I like that is is easy to use and clean. You can use it for many options of foods. I think it will hold up well and gets very hot. My waffle did stick and rip some at the top. I felt the texture of the waffle was a little chewy.

There's a little bit of a learning curve to get the right amount of batter added for a perfect bowl. It can stick and tear if too much batter is added. You may want to add a few more seconds to your time to crisp up the waffle. However, batters do vary with consistencies. This can be dependent on the type and amount of flour and oil. If your waffle bowls are sticking, double check to see if there is oil/fat in the batter. Make sure not to add any spray oil to the grids as it can actually make the grids tacky over time and cause the batter to stick. Also double check to see if there are any knicks or scratches in the coating due to using metal utensils. Batters with fruit, like blueberries, can cause the batter to stick too. If the grids are tacky, you can make a baking soda paste and place it on the affected areas. Wipe off with a nylon pad or scrub brush when it dries.
