A: Personally, a 16” is a tad too long, day or nite.
If I’m going shopping, a Long Ultimate for safety, if wearing loose clothing that doesn’t show pad bulges.
The Max A #5 absorbency is personal preference for days around the house or working in the yard.
The Ultimate absorbency for shopping or away-from-home stays. The long Ultimate for Bedtime.

Here are the measurements: Very Light Absorbency - Regular Length: 7.25 inches, Long Length: 8.35 inches. Light Absorbency - Regular Length: 10.75 inches. Moderate Absorbency - Regular Length: 10.5 inches, Long Length: 12.5 inches. Maximum Absorbency - Regular Length: 12.5 inches, Long Length: 14.25 inches. I like Prevail’ design and absorbency, and that (some) sizes have replaced the paper strips to be disposed of by affixing them to the wrapper. Silly it may seem, but the color wrapper is very satisfying.
