Pride Dandy Bird

Had a few hot glue strings left on it, but those pull right off and I feel like every featherly friend in the past year or two has had some of those as a result of getting more detailed. Absolutely love the details on this one, the gold spots are actual beads sewn on and the boutonniere is made up of like 4 diffrent tiny little pieces and looks great. Adding this Dandy little guy to my main display, I absolutely love how he looks. The 60% price hike being just on the pride birds feels a little targeted so I'm not picking up as many birds as I usually do, but I did pick up this guy and will probably get the poetress when she comes back in stock.

Another Pride offering from the talented creative team behind Featherly Friends. Love this Dandy bird, modeled after the great 19th century dandy and wit Oscar Wilde. His name shall be Oscar (of course!) And the real Oscar would have had even more flamboyant fashion: a vest in bright colored paisley (probably), a colorful silk cravat, multiple rings on his fingers. Only negative with this bird is the price jump from $5 to $8--quite the hike there, Target. Love everything else about this Dandy bird. "To live is the rarest thing in the world. I returned one of these birds due to quality issues and received one that is even worse. There are several spots where large bits of hot glue are visible. These birds went up in price from $5 to $8, but quality has decreased. I will most likely be returning this one and not seeking a replacement due to the lack of quality control. Do better, Target!

I love, love, love these birds and how they represent cultural icons in Queer history! Dandy representing famous dandies like Oscar Wilde is so cool! Thanks Target for actually putting in effort this year for pride month!
