Primary Kids Lightweight Puffer Jacket

We love the puffer jacket. Warm enough but light enough.

Great lightweight jacket for fall/early winter

This is our third lightweight puffer jacket purchased. We love this jacket!

I did not realize that these coats where not very waterproof. For a tiny bit of drizzle it’s ok but if the weather changes and the rain is steady, it soaks through. I bought 4 and now I feel like I wasted money :(

My daughter is 2 and loves this jacket. She wears size 2T clothing and the 2 fits her great. She has a little bit of room to grow, but it’s not too big. It’s very lightweight but seems to be quite warm. The color is great too. We were looking for a brightly colored jacket to make her easy to spot. The orange is bright without being too much. I will be purchasing another one when she grows out of this one.

This is my third and last lightweight puffer jacket I'm afraid. I really liked the jacket weight and wanted to give it another chance, but sadly I've had the same durability problem with both my 4 yr old son and 18 month old daughter. For each, the jacket has quickly and very easily snagged within the first few days of use during everyday activities (to/from school essentially), not even during heavy play. They are still usable, but disappointingly delicate as our other Primary clothes are almost good as new even as hand-me-downs for younger siblings.

This is my 3rd puffer from primary. They hold up so well and my kids like to wear them. I will say, they run slightly small in my opinion. I got a 14 for my 11 year old so it fit over big hoodies.

I’ve been buying these jackets in various sizes for my kids for the last 4 years, they are the perfect weight for wearing alone or layering over sweatshirts/a zip up sweatshirt on colder mornings. Every jacket is being handed down, they hold up to wear well. I skip sizes to get 2 years wear out of them, my 2 year old is in a size 3 hand me down that she will wear again next year, the sleeves easily roll up. I have lighter colors (slate blue, light pink, light purple, yellow) and all the nasty dark playground dirt washes out well, I just machine wash and lay flat to dry.

This is my son's third puffy jacket from Primary and he likes it. The blueberry color was different than what the picture showed, the inside of the coat is more of the color we expected than the bright blue on the outside. It is light-weight warm and zips well. It is a great all around jacket for temps down to 25-30 degrees.

This light-weight puffer is always the perfect fall wardrobe staple. It provides plenty of warmth with room to grow and I love the variety of bright colors to choose from. My kids have worn their jackets for a couple of years. So worth it!

Love these puffers for my Grandsons!

This jacket is perfect for temperate winters in Texas, but also great when layered if traveling to colder destinations. We're on our 5th size of this. I just get a new one each year she grows, it's been our go-to winter jacket.

3rd jacket, my granddaughter, and her mom loved this coat

We have purchased this coat in many different sizes (and colors) as our son has grown. We love it as a fall/spring coat as our son runs warm. Easy to wash, dry, and wear. Zipper is easy to use and doesn't get stuck. We've passed on the smaller sizes and have seen them go through 2-3 other kids, and still look great! Highly recommended from us!

My kid loves the weight and feel of this coat. Great for moderate to cool temps and can even withstand some raindrops.
