George Foreman Fully Submersible Grill, NEW Dishwasher Safe, Wash the Entire Grill, Easy-to-Clean Nonstick, Black/Grey

Used for the first time today. I love how the parts can go in the dishwasher, it preheats quickly, and cooks about 2 Kirkland size frozen burgers in about 5 minutes (depending how you like yours cooked). Whole thing is pretty lightweight making it easy to move around if you want to cook in your kitchen or under patio . Would be nice to have a little handle, but overall a great product so far

Pros: Heats up fast and cooks well. Cons: Smokes a lot. I live in a small apartment and the last few times I have used this my whole kitchen gets full of smoke to the point I have to open a window and use fans. I thought I cleaned it well. One time (I’ll admit) I did forget to clean the drip pan and when I turned it on and noticed the grill smoking I immediately turned it off. Since then, I noticed that the heating coils under the bottom grill and above the drip pan have turned brown. Not sure if that’s the cause or not. Would like to know if I could clean the heating coils part with steel wool or a steal sponge or not. To clean the grill plates, I use regular degreasing dish soap. I did put it in the dishwasher once but it looks like there was some dish powder residue In the area where the probes go. I also noticed what appeared to be a bit of rust so not sure I’ll be using the dishwasher again. Would love some better cleaning suggestions. Also the manual said not to use aerosol cooking sprays. Can we use regular oil or butter? Would like to know. Lastly. I can only fit two hamburgers in here. Not sure why it says 4.

My first one which I had at least 10 years still worked fine but coating on plates was coming off. When looked at website and saw the 4-serving submersible one I knew it would be perfect. It has been so far. Have made turkey burgers and salmon. Both were perfect and grilling instructions were spot on.

I bought this two weeks and used it the first time today. It stopped working in the middle of cooking my chicken - very disappointed. I already threw away the box so I don’t even think I can return it!

Terrible fit of top and bottom lids. Spews hot fat steam out all sides. Non stick is very poor quality.

You have an interesting concept of measurements. It says, "Serves four." No way. One sandwich or two small appetizers. Highly misleading.

The product registration process was very smooth & easy. Only had the grill for a week and have used it a number of time. Easy to use, does a great job - we did steaks, lamb chops and burgers. Cleaned the grill in the dishwasher.

Watch cook time. Book recomends 8 minutes on steaks. Gives med-well.

I bought this a few days ago and have used it twice and love that you can clean it by submersing it in water or in the dishwasher. Great improvement.

I used it 3 times and it caught fire after I plugged it in for it to preheat.

I wanted a grill that really cooks and it does! It heats within seconds, and it is so easy to clean by simply putting it into the dishwasher. The only thing I don't like is the temperature cannot be adjusted.

I bought this for my husband to replace his old sandwich press. He loves it! He says it heats the sandwich all the way through perfectly with no burn spots. It also washes up easily. Buy this one, you won’t regret it.

The Grill works great. Easy to clean. The only negative I have is it is smaller than I thought. It says it serves four. Maybe if you are only eating four normal size meatballs. I could barely fit two 8 oz steaks on the grill.

I’ve only used it once so - so far it’s nice. Thought it would b larger cooking surface but I dont think it’s much bigger than the one I already had. It’s nice being able to submerge the two plates - cleaning us easier

Absolutely love how you can break this down to a washable unit. Bought it for indoor winter grilling. Highly recommend.

I cooked 2 hot dogs and it tasted like I was cooking on a grill. Great for a 1 or 2 person home

I have an older OLDER model of a GF Grill. I can comfortably fit 3 1/3lb burgers on that one with no touching. I can barely fit those same burgers on this one. The size is notably smaller. I thoroughly appreciate the dishwasher compatible ability, makes the cleaning so much easier. I just wish it were bigger.

I love George Foreman THE greatest heavyweight champion and I like this grill a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the grill plate for a few weeks. If you want to find a real bargain deal, this product is worth purchasing. However, if you want to get a sophisticated tool, this one cannot fit. The quality of the non-stick coating is not really good. If some melting food or you want to cook food at a very high temperature, and maybe it's not good for health. I had cooked steak and chicken drums and they were yummy, but still, have some spots stuck to the grill surface, and my cooking way may be wrong. However, when I tried to clean the surface, still worried about damaging the surface.

At first I was a little skeptical about a grill that I couldn't set the temp, but to be honest this thing was perfect and not only that the temp cooked my food beautifully. The best part about this is the grill plates are dishwasher safe. That is the main reason I stopped using them!
