    Bought the Blue Dress

    This is a very nice dress. The weight of the material is what makes the fitted bodice work. It’s extremely comfortable, I wore it for 6 hours without needing to adjust it. This dress washed extremely well! (I hung it to dry). It is an “over the head” dress with a short zip under the arm to make that possible. The sizing is perfectly fitted as listed. (Use the model option specifically for you that is offered under change model so you can see her in your size. It has really helped me judge all clothing.) The length is as pictured and advertised. In my case xs is my option. The sleeves are not clingy to the point of feeling weird. The bodice is fitted with a great amount of easement to the actual sleeves. That’s a very noticeable thing! Usually if the bodice is well fitted and comfortable the sleeves are too narrow and restrictive. Not in this case however. I am 5’5” and 126 lb. I am a size 1. Yep that’s a half size lol. Always have been a half size. Sometimes I’ve gone to the petite section to get the correct fitting in the bodice. It is nice to see this style come back into fashion. For so many years now the A-Line has been front and center to make manufacturers happy and to easily mass produce but not necessarily what ladies truly want. A-Line in my mind is a nice summer wear but lacks sophistication when moving through life and its different daily callings. So bravo and thank you to Target.

    Simple and elegant, nice selection of colors. Flows well. On the negative side - ordered in usual size but looks like it runs smaller in the upper body and a bit stiff material. Most likely Sizing up won’t help. Also a bit expensive for the overall simple dress. Still deciding to keep or not.
