Q: Is th canopy waterproof?

  • A: Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. A PU-coated polyester canopy is water-resistant and offers good protection against light to moderate rain, but it is not 100% waterproof under all conditions. The polyurethane (PU) coating repels water effectively for a certain period, keeping you dry in typical showers. However, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or extreme weather may eventually allow moisture to seep through, especially if the coating is thin or worn. Eagle Peak Customer Service

CHEAP POC

Shipping took longer than originally stated (which was the only reason I went with this product to protect some things from weather outdoors) then it arrived with a broken zipper. In order to get a refund I'd need to break it down and ship it leaving my stored items exposed again. Off to get a new zipper lose even more of my time and money. Quality overall is cheap. Few options in this size and they must know it.
