I love these little notebooks. Normally, I just take notes on a normal day. I bought these just because it is a Seattle company and I knew I would get caught in the rain. But, a few days, I actually got caught in heavier rain. I was really surprised at how well these worked (I also have the pens). I was able to write completely clearly in a pretty solid downpour.

I work in water treatment so being able to write down readings with wet hands is amazing! Paper works as advertised and having sat on the spiral part a couple times its definitely more durable than your run of the mill notepad. Highly recommend getting the 3-pack since you'll want more once you try it

We have used these items on multiple college immersive trips to Costa Rica and other locations where the students need to be able to take notes and drawings that are water-resistant/proof. These have continuously lived up to that.

The notepad is a great asset for work. Fits in my back pocket, holds up to hard wear, and maintains legible notes. Great for work in construction.

The note book works great. As a wastewater operator I use my rite in the rain 3x5 notebook in adverse conditions throughout the year. ie rain, snow, I started using these products years ago and they just work as described. Pair the note book with an all weather pen or a pencil and you are good to go no matter the elements the data you log will be there.

I am a field service tech. I have used Rite in rain products for about 10 years. There are many situations when it is easier to use then taking notes on a phone. The note pad doesn't care if your hands are covered in grease and dirt or if you have gloves on. I definitely recommend these products to anyone that is working outdoors or in a wet or dirty environment.

Traveling to all types of industry doing vibration analysis, I keep a notebook for each plant. From humid and hot paper mills to steamy steel plants to harsh chemical plants, I make notes as I do my routes. It’s great to be able to refer back to notes while analyzing data. I am very happy with this little notebook. It was great for my 3-day Geology field trip. It started raining during the trip and I can confirm the paper is waterproof.

Utterly invaluable for any application. Impossible to overstate how durable and useful these are. I literally put a pad and pen in a washing machine and they came out completely functional and legible. I've taken these through snow, rain and mud and they keep working fine. Just get more than one so that your jealous friends aren't left out.

My beige Side Bound C980 Book Cover holds a No 373 yellow, side spiral Universal notebook in the back left side pouch (it is placed spiral end to the left to decrease bulk). On the left side front inner area are four pen slots. A yellow YE13 Mechanical Clicker Pencil is in the fourth slot from the left (again to avoid bulk) leaving three pen slots free. In the back right pouch is a yellow No 1773 Outdoor Journal (Universal pattern), placed with spiral to the left of the book cover. The front inside right pouch holds a No OR35 Orange Top Spiral Notebook (Universal pattern), and an orange No 97 All-Weather Metal Pen (clicker style, pressurized ink cartridge). The pen is to the left of the notebook (reduces bulk by being offset from the pencil on the other side). With the three different notebooks I can record and separate personal and business data. Using both the pencil and pen give me options to highlight various facts. This is a functional, water resistant set-up that uses minimal space.

Great little notebook, fits perfect in an admin pouch on my plate carrier. Don't compromise, get Rite in the Rain.

I enjoy this product greatly for the job. I do. I am a farmer and I work in various weather conditions and it is extremely dirty and rough and all your products hold up to the test, Even in Fertilizer, because I am in the springtime, a Fertilizer blender operator and it was stands all the Fertilizer dust and holds up. Great I will continue to buy your products for the foreseeable future.

these are wonderful little notebooks that hold up well to riding around in my pocket every day for months at a time. Have used them for years and plan to continue using them.

Size is perfect. I keep these stashed around, car, work, back pocket. Though when the notepad gets warm, the pages' waxiness gets a little sticky, so be careful with heat.

The gold standard for a field notebook for the carpenter or tradesman. Unbelievably durable and sensible.. terrific value as well.

It does as intended and it came in handy for a forensic course 10/10 get one it is worth the price

I got some pens and a couple notebooks to give as a Christmas gift. He loved them!
