Upholstered Twin Size Daybed with Hydraulic Storage & USB - C Charging, Velvet Tufted Back Sofa Bed Frame, Pink - ModernLuxe

I assembled this daybed from ModernLuxe in roughly 3-4 hours (I took breaks) and it was not extremely difficult to do, just time consuming. Once you are familiar with the tools and pieces, time will fly by! There are 14 steps in the instruction manual. I ordered the gray daybed to match the rug in my basement, which it does perfectly (nice, dark gray). What caught my attention immediately was the fabric - velvet. I did not have "velvet" in my search terms but I'm all about it! The velvet adds a little "extra-ness" to the overall look. It is very soft material, it feels like it's great quality. No rips or tears, no worn spots - it's pristine. I love the back paneling as well, the design of it. The back panel (where your back leans against) is cushioned. I'm almost regretting setting up my couch pillows like I did because the paneling is such a pretty feature, I shouldn't cover it up! The daybed is constructed so that you can lift up the mattress for storage underneath. You can easily put some shallow bins under there to hold whatever you may need to store away (seasonal things, blankets, etc). I love that feature! I could always use more hidden storage spots! The added charging ports, one USB and one USB-C, are just awesome for when you are mindlessly scrolling and draining your device's battery but don't want to get up... it happens to the best of us lol There are rather deep pockets on both sides of the daybed, one on the left and one on the right, to hold your devices, magazines/ books, remotes, and controllers. Cute addition to the daybed's functionality for sure. The daybed utilizes hydraulics when you lift up the mattress to reveal the underside/ floor below. It is very easy to lift up, by the strap, which is a big relief. My 5 year old can lift up the mattress by the strap, so I believe it will be easy to do for anyone who purchases this product! The efficiency of this daybed is just *chef's kisses* Overall, I would 100% purchase this daybed again!! I love everything about it! From the material, to the design, to the additional features and efficacy of the hydraulics, I really appreciate this product and absolutely love it in my home! I have a space off my master bedroom that's looking a bit bleak at the moment... I may need to order the cream colored daybed as well HA!!
