Guests are saying
The recent changes to this lip balm have left many guests disappointed, particularly due to the removal of SPF and the new formula that dries out lips. However, some guests still appreciate its moisturizing properties, pleasant fragrance, and unique packaging. The balm is praised for its effectiveness in soothing dry lips, making it a go-to for many. Guests hope for a return to the original formula that they loved for years.

Love it!
Honestly, this is the best lip balm I’ve ever used. It healed my lips and keeps them moisturised all the time. I’ve been using it for nine years now, and it’s the only product I’ve stuck with. I’ve tried other, more popular brands, but none of them worked as well as this one. Lately it’s been really hard to find, which is so frustrating. I’ve also read some negative comments, but I honestly don’t agree with them at all. My whole family uses it, and they’re all very happy with it too.

Poor product
I purchased the lip balm label without the SPF. It drys out my lips so much and I need to reapply it every 40 minutes. I am an avid user of Palmer's products specifically, the Palmer's lotion and solid jar. Actually, my lips stay more hydrated when I use the solid jar on my lips. It lasts longer and mositens it. I think I'll just use my solid jar that i use on my body temprarily. I will not buy this product again.

What a mistake you have made. The new formula is awful. Please bring back the original yellow lip balm.

Not the same
The colour, smell and texture has changed. Nothing like the original one. I'm very disappointed. I've been using the original for years. Wish they would bring the original one back with the spf 15.

Burning lips
I always used to buy this lip balm but recent packs have made my lips burn when I apply it. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin and have never had a problem with other lip balms. I will now be switching to a different brand.

Better then Chapstick brand
Been buying these for years and yes the formula changed. I have noticed they sell one with spf and one without. I prefer the one with just for extra protection. Goes on nice and not oily. Also very moisturizing!! My daughter loves these as well! She is usually carrying around multiple at a time.

Is this product no longer available with SPF 15!?
I have bought this product for about 8 years as it was the only lip balm I could find with SPF 15 that didn't taste disgusting. It was always amazing and I used to buy 5 at a time as I suffer from cold sores so need to use SPF on my lips all the time. They no longer have SPF 15 on the stick or packaging. Is this the end of SPF in your lip balm and the begining of a new search for me to find a different one that doesn't taste awful? Thank you

Smells funny?
I bought a new one this week. It smells like washing that’s been left in the machine for too long. I’m presuming this is the batch number T4220NA013. Might be worth checking this batch.

Awful
Bought this today, nearly ripped my lips in half. Rock hard and several bits broke off as I tried to rub on my lips, which really hurt. I won't buy this again

Wow, it feels SO good and soothing
Randomly found this at a local store. I hope I can find more! I'm REALLY glad I didn't look at the online reviews here before I bought it. I got the with NO SPF marks on it. Totally clear on, soothed the pain from some chapping. It's absolutely amazing, and I'm now looking for more because it's THAT good. Don't let these reviews sway you, if you see the one with NO spf marking, you won't have the problem going back and forth from formulation, it's just plain GREAT!

No notice of SPF removal
I have used the Palmer‘s moisturizing lip balm with SPF for years. We just returned from Hawaii and both my husband and I wondered why our lips were so burnt. Well guess what? No more SPF In the small lip balm. I can only imagine the damage that has been done for the last year. I use them for so long that I never even thought of reading the front of it to see if it had changed. Very disappointing.

Fab!
This is great and I especially like that it's vegan as so many lip balms have beeswax in them. Keeps my lips from cracking in the winter.

Going back to original formula?
I agree with the reviews that the new formula is disappointing. But I am confused by the Palmers responses...are you going back to the original formula? Or are you not able to? "Original" fans want to know! :)

My go to
Love the product,, wish it didn't have added fragrance it's not necessary. The microchrystaline wax makes lips feel smooth along with the cocoa butter my go to lip product all year long.

How do I get a question answered?
I bought the lip balm probably my third time now. I do not see any expiration date anywhere on the product? How is one supposed to know?

Darn it!
I thought my body was having a crazy reaction and I couldn't figure out why. It's the sunflower oil. I'm allergic to sunflowers. The lip balm was making my lips crack and I have full body rashes from using the body cream. I wanted to smell cocoa buttery with shiny skin too. Not with this brand.
