Q: I am looking for something to keep my 80lb elderly dog safe who is hard of walking from falling on our hardwood floor. Do you think this would tip over, fall down, or collapse?

  • A: Hi, Thank you for your question. Our Large Baby Playpen (47×47 in) is designed to provide a stable and safe play area for babies and toddlers. The frame is reinforced and the base is supported by non-slip pads to help keep the playpen stable during normal use. However, since the product is primarily designed for children rather than large pets, we cannot guarantee that it will remain completely stable if used with an 80 lb dog, especially if the dog leans heavily on the sides or pushes against the frame. For elderly dogs that need support while walking on hardwood floors, you may also want to consider additional solutions such as non-slip rugs or pet traction socks to help prevent slipping.
