I'm confused by other reviews of this product because the pics show a piece that goes on the top that the cat is sitting on so it can enter from the top. There was no such piece with the item I purchased. Overall, I really like the stainless steel because it was the perfect size, cleans up so easy and less smell. All 3 of our cats use it, even our 17.6lb Maine Coon, but he's a bit large and ends up pees on the side. Somehow they all still manage to kick litter out of the box when they do their job, even with 11+" sides!

Awesome Litter Box
I love this litter box. I have a sixteen pound, older Maine Coon boy and it gives him plenty of room. It is very easy to clean and the metal scoop is great. The step keeps litter tracking to a minimum. I use tofu litter and there is really no odor at all with this litter box.

Terrible quality
I wanted to love this litter box & was super excited for it to arrive but was so disappointed in it when I put it together. The stainless steel box is great, but the entire top piece ruins it because the plastic is so soft and flimsy that my cat’s weight causes it to bow and sag. In turn the bowing and sagging cause the door in the front to pop out of place and in turn make the door useless as well. I know my cat is big (15 lbs) BUT that’s why I bought an extra large litter box, for a big boy! It makes zero sense to me to manufacture a good quality, stainless steel box and then top it with an incredibly thin plastic topper that renders the whole thing useless. There were no reviews to read before I purchased this, so let me be the first to say DO NOT PURCHASE this because essentially what you’re going to end up with is a nice, stainless steel box only with a $60+ price tag. My cat cannot & will not use it so I’ll will be returning this promptly. Wish there had been reviews to read before I bought this :(
