I wanted a table with storage for art supplies and big enough for my 6 and 8 yr old to sit at. My 6 yr old sits in it well. The chair is a little low for my 8 yr old's legs. However they are both able to sit and do homework at. It is a common place for my 8 yr old to do homework. There are a few things that are frustrating but we make it work. The storage on both sides are small for typical art supplies. The side with more storage does not have very wide shelves. How er I am not a fan of shelving that has built in sections. It really limits what you can store on them. The biggest annoyance is the opening to the paper roll is not the size of the rolls we had extra of. We had extra M&D paper rolls and that paper is a little too wide for this table. We make it work but it crinkles the sides. Once this roll is done I will look for a different roll of paper that will fit better into the opening. Hopefully there is something thinner. The finish of the table does absorb a bit. We've had other tables that markers or slime has not been wiped up right away and has come off. This one I try to wipe up quickly. Overall it works. It's the best one I could find that had some storage, tall enough for older kids and at a decent price.
