Worth for an year
For the initial one year the ring was performing okay. But after one year it starts working abnormally. Charges from 0 to 100% with mins and discharges to 0% in the same way. Not scratch resistant. Disconnects from phone due to charging issue. Leaves stress marks on the finger.

Great to track my sleep and stress patterns.
The ring does exactly what I had hoped for when I purchased it. I used it to track my health, especially my sleep. In tracking my sleep, I find I use the hints to modify my habits to produce more useful sleep and find my overall energy and ability to concentrate has improved. I also keep an eye on my heart rate and stress level.

Battery drains in less a day
I bought this ring a year ago, and the battery drains in less than a day. It is an expensive product of very poor quality. I can barely use my ring anymore. Be wary of this product; I would not recommend it.

Hi there BigD, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We value your feedback as we continue to improvement the functionality and performance of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Stay away, the battery will fail
I loved the Galaxy ring. It was comfortable and fit my style well. But like many others have reported, mine died a few weeks out of warranty. The battery went from lastin 6-7 days to about 3 very suddenly and within a week it only lasts a few hours at most now. Of course Samsung says too bad it's out of warranty while trying to convince me it's my fault for not buying their extended service. I don't think a tech product should genuinely become useless after a single year.in the end it's a garbage product destined for a landfill as there's no way to arrive the battery due to the Ring's construction. Will never fall for that again unless Samsung releases a model with a multi year warranty that covers battery degradation. $400 for a ring that isn't even made of actual previous metals since it no longer works

Great So Far
From what I've seen online you do not want the ring to completely die or be charged to 100% all the time or else the battery will not last after 6months to a year. So try 20%-90%

Disappointing Longevity and Battery Failure
While the Galaxy Ring is a neat concept when it’s actually functioning, the long-term ownership experience has been incredibly frustrating. I’ve gone through two of these now, and the hardware simply doesn’t seem built to last. The Issues: Poor Battery Lifespan: My biggest grievance is the battery reliability. My first ring failed within the first year. The replacement fared even worse, failing almost exactly one month after the warranty expired. It seems there is a consistent issue where the battery gives out around the 15-month mark—a sentiment I’ve seen echoed in numerous forums and user complaints. Build Quality: For the price point, the ring feels surprisingly cheap. The initial "cool factor" of the data wears off quickly, and after about three months, I found myself stopped checking the app entirely because the insights didn't feel worth the hassle. Value for Money: Between the hardware failing twice and the lackluster build, I cannot recommend this. It feels like an expensive prototype rather than a polished, durable wearable. Bottom Line: Unless you’re comfortable replacing your tech every year, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. The battery issues alone make this a poor investment. Love it but stopped charging after 12 months.
I loved my Samsung Ring until it died just a couple of weeks before warranty expired. By the time I reported it it was too late. I want a new one but I cannot even trade in my 1 year old ring yet. Can't swallow the loss.

Amazing device, but needs work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Ring to compliment my watch with samsung health. The first Ring I bought was great. It worked great, however the charging part stopped working within the year I bought it. As far as what it tracks and monitors. It does do a wonderful job especially since there is no subscription needed. I did wish I had a way of connecting it to my Libre 3plus CGM as I am diabetic T2. Now, I had to send in my Ring to be fixed, but the part needed to fix it was not in stock so I was given a full refund. I did end up getting another Ring, it was a customer return from Best Buy. However, that too had charging issues. I only had that Ring less than 3 months before I noticed it was not holding a charge. I am not sure if this is a common issue, but unfortunately I am now stuck with a 2nd Ring that doesn't work. I don't want to go through the same processes to get my money back so I am out the $200+ for the returned Ring as Best Buy will mot take it back for a refund. I ended up purchasing an Oura and have been pretty satisfied with it.

Not just telling time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an avid watch user since the beginning of the watch availability from samsung. I've had almost every iteration of the watch starting with one , then two lte, then four, then 5 classic, then 7 ultra lte and now the eight classic... I will honestly say the battery life is better on the seven Ultra than it is on the eight classic and that's even minus the LTE availability on the watch 8 classic. As for the functionality of the watch itself, I'm hooked. I love the convenience of all the health features and the convenience of being able to pay with my watch when necessary. I do wish the battery would last a little longer, but that is an ongoing issue with every model of the watch that I've owned with the exception of the seven Ultra. The improved features on the eight are wonderful, but maybe I should have waited for the nine, however, since I love the bezel on the classic I don't think the nine would have helped me. I guess time will tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for work on the go, scoring baseball games on game changer, and scoring billiards matches during league. Its fabulous. Runs fast, I can effortlessly swap between my phonecand tablet with copy paste because they are designed to work in tandem. Couldn't recommend a better tablet.

I was hoping for more
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring is nice to have. I have had it for about 18 months. I dont feel there has been a significant performance degrade. I just dont feel it is very accurate for the thing i primarily use it for which is sleep tracking. When i first got it i was disappointed due to a flimsy feel. After the first couple months of daily wear i had to get a warranty replacement. Ever since the new ring srrived i only wear it at night. I am glad i initially bought it and i dont have any other ring products to compare it to, but when it dies i wont replace it and wont buy a different ring product.
