[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stouffer’s lasagna with meat and sauce party size is a large dish that serves a lot but it would not be my first choice when it comes to lasagna. It taste like the canned ravioli you used to eat as a child with lasagna noodles instead. I wish the sauce had more flavor as it was a bit bland. The preparation was easy but it takes a long time to cook so not something you would choose for a quick meal. I received this in exchange for my honest review.

Homemade Taste without the Prep Work

The sauce is seasoned well and the texture of the pasta is not mushy and keeps everything together. It is topped with a decent amount of cheese although I would recommend adding a little more a few minutes before it's ready to come out of the oven. Overall, this is a great choice if you are needing to feed a large family and get that homemade taste without all the work of prepping it.

Delicious and easy meal

It was sauced and perfect amount of cheese on top. I love that it comes with the aluminum lid which makes for easy storage of leftovers and easy to reheat. You get a lot of food for money.

Only half of the pan was edible.
I guess the product defrosts enough in transit or stores to slide all the sauce to one side of the package when it gets stood on its side instead of lying flat, so the top half of my lasagna was mostly just noodles, which got dried out in the oven and came out chewy like rubber. The other half tasted fine but while the “party size” should have been plenty, there was not even enough “good” edible lasagna to go around. We had to go get fast food for the kids and a couple of hungry adults.

A Filling, Delicious Meal For The Whole Family

Stouffer's party size lasagna is a wonderful option when you want something easy, convenient, filling, and delicious to give your family. All you have to do is put the lasagna in the oven for about an hour and let it cool off afterwards. The lasagna has a good balance between cheese, meat, noodles, and sauce. It's all pretty flavorful as is too, especially the sauce. We did add some extra cheese though because the lid ended up peeling off a lot of the original cheese. It made for a delicious, filling meal with good texture, overall. The lasagna was enough to feed all three of us and still have leftovers for the next few days. So it's a very good value as well and perfect for feeding a large group of people. I'd definitely recommend trying Stouffer's party size lasagna! My family and I will absolutely be purchasing it in the future.

Perfect for hungry people when you’re in a rush

Good enough for thirds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am definitely fond of lasagna and I'm a little picky, especially since I am spoiled with homemade stuff. But Stouffer's has stepped up the game and has been amazing. It cooked just fine. Was easy to throw in, pull out of the oven and eat it. Had a good amount of meat. I wouldn't say that it is meat lovers. I would say that this is the standard amount of meat that should be in lasagna before companies started getting skimpy but it was good enough that I went back for thirds and I got a large enough size as I knew I wanted leftovers and was able to have it for a few meals and even after cooking it reheated well.

Greasy and hard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stouffers Party Size lasagna with meat and sauce is an okay meal for the family. It takes about 90 minutes from freezer to table. Or you can thaw beforehand and taken 50 minutes. After cooking, my family noticed that the noodles were hard so it had to go back into the oven for 10 minutes more. Afterwards, the noodles were still hard but the top began to burn. The sauce was great tasting but very greasy. Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase this lasagna.

The instructions were easy to follow and it cooked up nicely. I do suggest placing a pan underneath because it does spill a little in the oven. The flavor was mild so we added seasonings to enhance it. The there's a good amount of sauce and cheese included with not as much meat. Overall this is a good value for the convenience of simply popping it in the oven.
