Easy & tasty weeknight meal

Yummy lasagna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Stouffer’s lasagna with meat and meat sauce I love soft and tender. The noodles are and it has plenty of sauce and meat so it’s never dry. Although I wish they would add a little extra cheese. It is a perfect size portion control meal for at home on the go or even at the office I would highly recommend the first lasagna to anyone who’s looking for a yummy quick meal. You can also have it with vegetable or by itself.

Easy family dinner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Stouffers Large Family Size Lasagna with Meat and Sauce and it tasted good and was a great dinner option. It was easy to make just following the directions. The only thing that wasn't great was the edges kinda dried out and got hard during cooking. Besides that it was a great meal for my family. The amount that came in the package was perfect for our family of five.

Warmed up the day later! The sauce is perfect not too tan and not too overwhelming. Really good ingredients and Stouffer‘s always has amazing product so I always tend to pick this up when I’m at the store. I really liked this size! Again, it wasn’t so overwhelming that it wouldn’t fit in the freezer or the refrigerator! Had enough for leftovers the next day!

Easy clean up

It has large chunks of meat in the sauce. Don't forget to add a salad or French bread to complete the meal. Cooks for 85 minutes.

I like that the ingredients are basic and the flavor really hits home. While it doesn’t quite look like the box, the toasted cheese and the smell of the heated sauce still makes it appealing. My only issue is that for a “family” sized meal, it doesn’t have a lot of servings. It’s more fitting for one couple or perhaps a max of three adults.

Decent for frozen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was decent lasagna. There wasn’t enough sauce to cover some top portions, so those noodles were a bit hard. I baked it in the oven, it took the full 48mins, and it was heated all the way through. The sauce was tangy and the meat texture was nice. It would have been nice to have a bit more cheese. The aroma of it cooking filled my home, but lacked that traditional garlic one would think of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lasagna is large enough to feed a family of four. It has a great tasting thick tomato sauce. The lasagna pasta is thick like I like it. The seasonings are on point. The meat ratio is great. It doesn’t have enough cheese. The very little cheese it does have is almost flavorless. I had to add more cheese to get it to taste like a lasagna my family would eat. It cooked evenly and was ready in the amount of time it says it would be.

This was such an easy review because I already keep this lasagna in stock for me and my family. Especially during the colder months. It’s a family favorite meal I can’t count on to make everyone happy. It also saves me time cooking a regular home cooked meal on the stove. This lasagna has the perfect amount of meat, sausage, sauce, and noodle ratio. I have a family of 5 so if it can fill us all up then it’s a plus. We usually have garlic bread and a side salad with the lasagna. Plus Stouffers is a great brand. I usually trust that when I purchase their products that I will be satisfied.

The tin is flimsy, so definitely put it on a baking sheet or in a pan before putting in the oven. Overall, the flavor is good and the cheese browns nicely. We like these to keep on hand in a pinch.
