Have been a long time customer of Hormel Corn beef hash. The change in this product was unnecessary. It was perfect the way it was. Now it resembles dog food when cooked and the taste is completely gone.

I've been eating Hormel's corner beef hash since I was a kid, and I still love it. To those saying it's too watery, you're undercooking it. Once you get a nice crisp on it, it's the best!

I had to strain this after heating it up, so much watery liquid, yuck! One buyer mentioned how thick it used to be, gad to get it out with a spoon, not this can!!! What happens to these great products that the product makers can't leave them alone?

I used to really enjoy this corned beef hash, until the 50% less fat option appeared. So much better flavor. Sadly, I haven't found it on the shelves for a long time. It appears to be history. :-(

Hi DaddyDan, I am not seeing a reduced fat option in our records but I do see a reduced sodium option. I have sent an email out to you directly!

I've loved canned hash since I was a kid. I have seen negative reviews about this brand due to greasyness but it is what it is.... it's canned food. How good do you expect it to be. As a kid growing up we ate "Broadcast" brand corned beef hash and I haven't seen it in years so this brand works for me

I haven't bought or eaten this is many years but was craving some with the memories included. Opened the can it was exactly as it has been since my childhood. Fried it up in a very hot cast iron skillet to a beautiful crisp brown. The taste, flavor and consistency is as always - big corned beef flavor with the right amount of potatoes and salt. It's a winner!

I am in my 70's, loved this product, introduced all my grandkids to it. Lately I find it to be so greasy I have to pour the grease off a few times while cooking and then pat the hash with paper towels so that it will be less detrimental for my (and my spouses') health.

Found a long human hair halfway through eating it. It had to come in the can because potatoes and meat were stuck to it and it wasn't mine or the wife's. Don't people wear hair nets in the food industry anymore?

They clearly increased the potato amount and decreased the beef to save money. It doesn't cook the same anymore. Was a lifetime Hornet buyer. Not buying another can unless the original ratio is back
