Add step 1: cook eggs alone extra 10 seconds

Delicious but the eggs are still cold while everything else is burning hot if I cook per the package directions. To solve this, I added a new Step 1, which is to pull off the eggs and cook them alone for 10 seconds, then rebuild the sandwich and cook per the package. Comes out perfectly every time with that added step.

The pictures on the label display what appears to be a nice pork sausage patty. However, Jimmy Dean uses mechanically separated chicken in the patty formulation also. Breakfast sausage should be pork. If it is a chicken patty, identify this on the primary label panel.

If you cook these in the oven, it’s better than a fast food breakfast sandwich. You have to wrap each half in foil and then bake for a long time, 25-30 minutes. The result is very worth it. Delicious breakfast, yum!

I follow the directions as printed on the box, but it never fails that the egg is always cold and I have to reheat it.

Every night as I lay my head down for sleep I look forward to the morning so that I may eat another delicious sandwich. If I was not limited by money or health, I would eat 12 a day. I have one for breakfast each day without fail. If I am away for travel and can not have one, I feel lost. This sandwich is the perfect blend of flavor and convenience with enough protein for my brain to pick up before work. My only complaint is that you don’t sell them in containers of more than 12 count. I need a 24 count or even 36. Thank you
It is good👍👍

II've been eating this and the other two sausage, egg and cheese for years. When I opened my newest box of these croissants, I did a double-take - What Happened to the Sausage?? How could it even be MADE so thin. I held it up to see if I could see through it. I looked at the box and the sausage in the picture looked like it always looked. Extremely disappointed and totally shocked. And of course the only size carton they had that day was for 10. So now I'm stuck with nine more of these farces! What happened? I know times are tough, but your price went up and your product took a nosedive.
Really Good!

First time trying Jimmy Dean Sausage Egg & Cheese Frozen Croissant Sandwiches. A good surprise after trying this yummy Breakfast Sandwich. Maybe not quite as good as a McDonald's Saugage Egg and Cheese but for a third of the price well worth it.
Absolutely horrible- literally inedible.

Ive had the croissant/sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwiches a few years ago & just got them again today (BOGO from Publix). Something must have changed because I had to do it it out- it was absolutely disgusting! I remember when I had them a couple years ago they were just okay, but now.... I can't believe these are sold & people eat them. The flavor is difficult to describe, but I suppose artificial & plastic tasting comes close. Now for the texture.... Dry, slimy, & spongy all at the same time. Every element of the sandwich tastes disgusting in its own way. & I tried the sandwich as a whole & each part separately to see if it was just one part or the sandwich as a whole which I disliked so much. The "croissant" is not flaky or buttery like it should be- its dry & dense. The "sausage" is slimy & greasy. The egg is both slimy & spongy. And as for the cheese- it basically melts into non existence.

I have been a big fan of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese croissant for a long time. Recently I have noticed that the cheese slice has decreased in size and the the croissant is tough and chewy. Very disappointing!

I used to live for these sandwiches but the last batch I bought the egg is comedically thin as well as the sausage. These will longer a staple in my household.

I love the sausage egg and cheese croissants. But lately i have gotten a few with partial suasage patties as if it we cut off and the croissants are more like a soft biscuit now.

Has been our favorite quick breakfast. But the last two boxes the cheese is WAY smaller. Looks like time to look into generic. If I'm going to get less... might as well pay less.

JD has a lot of great breakfast products but this one takes the cake by far. This one is the closet thing you can get to something you would make at home yourself and it doesn’t taste artificial or chemically or stale.

I suppose that whoever took over Jimmy Dean’s sandwiches are responsible for the Croissant change. They are not the same fluffy ones. They changed last year and are not near as good. Money versus quality I guess.
