Easy Dinner Night!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a perfect meal for a night when I wasn’t trying to cook or do many dishes! Easily cooks in the microwave. The breadcrumbs on top stayed crunchy as well, which was a nice surprise! There was a good amount of chicken, and it was filling enough for my family of three. If I wanted to stretch it a little, I could have also made some rolls and possibly an extra side of a veggie, maybe broccoli. I was really impressed with this, and will be buying this and trying their other offerings as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I got to try this Grandma’s Chicken and Vegetable Rice Bake from Stouffers. We all were pleasantly surprised to like it. We ate it as a side along with our dinner. It taste better than it looks. The consistency was soft and creamy. This one came in a small baking disposable container serving for 4 people. So perfect amount for my family. The aftertaste was pretty good. It does remind me of something my grandma makes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a gift card to purchase and try Stouffers Grandma’s Chicken and Vegetable Rice Bake in exchange for my honest opinion. This frozen rice bake takes about 75 minutes to cook in an oven. The box makes it look more appealing than it really is. The texture is fine, but the bake is seriously lacking vegetables. The chicken has a good texture, as does the rice. The cheese sauce is tasty as well. If I purchase again, I’d prepare my own peas and carrots to mix in after baking. Overall, a decent value for the price.

Bland mush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I followed the directions exactly as they are printed on the box, in the oven (there is a microwave option, I thought oven would turn out better). It looks lightly toasted/crispy, but as soon as the spoon breaks that tiny bit of crisp, it’s clear the food is just going to be mush. There is no flavor, aside from the faint bland chicken and cheese flavor. The chicken is also pretty dry. I’m grateful for a warm meal, but I would not recommend this to anyone, nor will I be purchasing in the future.

Delicious!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chicken and rice bake is the perfect classic comfort food. The chicken is delicious and there’s a lot of vegetables. I did have to add a little bit of salt but that’s perfect if someone has to be careful with their salt level. I had teenagers try it and they commented that it was ‘too creamy for them’, but I didn’t have any issue with that. It is perfect to meal prep so I was able to make several meals out of it. I combined it with baked ham and broccoli with lemon and it was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to buy again.

Runny, scant veggies, scant meat; dish came out bland and soupy. Looked like lumpy cheese soup when done, nothing like photos. I wouldn’t serve this as a side dish, let alone a meal.

Even after baking according to the instructions for 75 minutes, it comes out like a loose casserole when you go to serve it on a plate. It’s made with white meat chicken, which was tasty, plus white rice which is sort of flavorless, peas, carrots, celery, and breadcrumbs. The sauce is cheddar cheese based. I’d describe it as a comfort food meal. It was all right, but I doubt I would buy it again. I shared it with someone else who after tasting it said it’s alright. The box label shows it makes 4 1/2 servings. Each serving is very filling.

Why does everything have bread crumbs?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It should be stated that in no moment of time have I ever liked the addition of bread crumbs on top of my food. That being said, I did wind up removing the bread crumbs to the best of my ability while eating. It was super easy to make you just pop it right in the oven. No big deal, no issues. The part that was most disappointing for me was the amount of salt and pepper that needed to be added to the dish so that it tasted significantly better. Without adding salt and pepper. This was bland and it has a tendency to have the same texture because I removed the bread crumbs. So it's kind of just like bland boring mush in your mouth. Adding a little bit of salt and pepper was able to elevate this dish significantly and I would absolutely get it again. I do, however, just wish that at some point in time they would stop adding an unnecessary amount of bread crumbs to food.

I would get it again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple packaging. When it comes to size, it’s a decent quantity. Decent amount for a family of 4, maybe 5 with no leftovers. There was vegetables in there. Overall, I felt like the dish was mush. It was just all together & barely noticed chicken chunks in it. Flavors were more plane, could have added some salt to it. We have leftovers & I’m not exactly interested in eating it. My significant other said it was good. He isn’t to enthusiastic about it.

While it does cut down on prep, it still takes about an hour and a half to bake and cool, so you do need to plan ahead. The flavor was decent—simple comfort food—but a bit bland on its own. Adding hot sauce helped a lot. Overall, it’s a good option to keep on hand for nights when you don’t feel like cooking and still eat on the healthier side. Quick, easy and delicious

The rice bake's flavor tastes like home, with big chunks of tender chicken. For my family, it's an all-in-one meal. Although with this one, I added a bag of mixed vegetables for added nutrition.
