Good minus the Preservatives
The taste of this pork sausage is exactly what you would want when you need pork sausage. Its got a bit of a sage flavor that isn't overpowering and a slight hint of heat. It is the perfect amount of saltiness. It cooks well and has a good crumbly texture. The only thing I dont care for is the preservatives, and tbhq thats is added. This brand is something my family has been using for years, but now we have started looking for cleaner, healthier options and this no longer meets our needs.

Recipe change
I have used this product and the entire line for a very long time. However, I can tell there has been a recent change in the recipe. It has become much more spicy. Seniors have become an larger demographic in recent years as you are no doubt aware. Many Senior citizens have over the years developed health issues where the heat and "spicyness": is NOT the most desireable quality.
