Without the added ingredients, I would say this is average in taste, appearance, and quality of ingredients. Visually, it seemed to lack enough cheese. Taste: bland without added cheese and pepper flakes (if you like spicy, like me). Quality: I was fooled by the front of the package, touting all natural egg whites, turkey, etc. While reading ingredients, I noticed the "contains bioengineered" and immediately disappointed. I am guessing it is the soy and the corn, which have been bioengineered for probably more than a decade. I would have paid $1.00 more to not have those ingredients. I am not a regular purchaser of this sort of thing. I usually make my own scrambles and frittatas. I just thought this would be something different to try on my day off. I probably will not repurchase. I guess it's fine, but I am picky about ingredients and high sodium levels (this has 730mg, much higher than my 500mg threshold that I set for myself). One other thing that I need to mention: Single use plastic bowl, which I try to avoid. I would prefer if it was disposable cardboard, which could have been used (thinking of HealthyChoice steamers, purchased in past). I guess it is "fine" if you don't care about those things. It is just my honest opinion...

I bought this because my regular brand was available. It did not disappoint. Very tasty and filling so I didn’t need anything else until lunch time. Very happy and will purchase this one from now on !

It is hard to find non pork options in breakfast foods, this is a tasty one that I will purchase again.

These are tasty little bowls for the calorie count. If you are expecting something equivalent to a sit down restaurant you most likely be disappointed in taste and portion size. However, you are comparing a 270 calorie bowl to probably a 1200 calorie bowl. I have looked all over for low calorie and low cholesterol breakfast options that taste good and are convenient to make. This is the best alternative I have found that checks both boxes. To me this is about as filling as and Egg Mcmuffin but has 1/5 the cholesterol and forty less calories. You might need to add a yogurt snack or something to fill you up but still way healthier than 99% of the other frozen meals or fast food options.

Go to for my morning breakfast.. pretty upset though that Target has increased the price of these so much within the last few months. They are an excellent breakfast at lower price point, they aren’t quite good enough though with a higher price tag.

Super yummy and convenient.

Several years ago I underwent gastric bypass surgery. The result of that surgery included a daily requirement of at least 60g of protein. Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey Sausage Breakfast Bowls put a significant dent towards fulfilling that need. I am a spice guy, so I typically add some kind of Mexican sauce to help kick it up a notch. This has been a staple in my breakfast diet for almost 5 years. Love the taste and the convenience as well as the nutritional value. Of late, however, the turkey sausage has had bits of bone and other hard objects that never used to be there. I would say 3 out of 4 bowls have something in them now. I do not have a good alternative, so I do keep buying them, but others may not be as willing to look past this.

I have been eating 5 of these bowls a week since I became a diabetic in 2012. I used to love them!!! I don't know why y'all changed the cheese but what is in there now is awful! It acts like a glue and sticks everything in a clump. I am terribly saddened that I will have to find an alternative for my work breakfasts.

I didn’t think this would be good but was pleasantly surprised. My new go to instead of the biscuit and gravy bowl.

Although it was tasty, there was only a tablespoon of scrambled eggs and 3 or 4 small pieces of sausage. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs and the rest of the bowl was potatoes. Potatoes are nice, but I want eggs for breakfast

I’ve been buying these for a long time and eat them most mornings. However, You recently changed the film that goes over the top of them. Before it was square and worked very well. Now it’s round and has trouble clinging. About half the time it’s disconnected before I even take it out of the box. It is very frustrating as I just dumped about half the bowl on the floor before realizing this one was also missing sealed.

Love these in a pinch for work breakfast. Filling without all the calories! Sometimes I even eat them for lunch after a smaller breakfast. A lot of times they’re much cheaper at Target than the grocery stores too.

A bit bland. Won't buy again.

This morning was my first time, ever, to try a Jimmy Dean Turkey Delight breakfast bowl! So delicious! I've never had turkey sausage before, and this was so tasty! The egg whites came out perfect, (not slimy like other bowls), and the potatoes were perfect too! I wouldn't mind being a food tester for them. :)

I love this product and have been eating it every morning for over 4 years! In the last year the amount of cheese is sometimes OK but most of the time there is practically none. I have to buy cheese to add to it. Please fix this inconsistency!

I've had to throw several of these away because some of the food in the bowl tasted rotten. I double-checked the expiration date and that was good but there are times I bite into something and it just gets this horrid taste that makes me spit it out and toss the bowl away.

I absolutely love these bowls, but the portion of ingredients are inconsistent........sometimes I get a bowl of just potatoes and a few pieces of sausage. And other times nothing but egg. When the portions are even, they are awesome. But at the prices these days, I get disappointed to pay that price and just get a bowl of potatoes.

Great taste. Hard to believe it's frozen. The taste is so fresh
