Stouffer's lasagna has been a beloved choice for many guests, offering a comforting blend of pasta, meat sauce, and cheese. However, recent changes to the noodle texture and sauce ratio have left some guests disappointed. While the flavor remains appealing for quick meals, guests have noted inconsistencies in cooking and portion sizes. Despite mixed reviews, it continues to be a convenient option for family gatherings and busy nights.

Family of 5 approved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great meal for night you just don’t want to cook. It did in fact feed my family of 5 and my picky kids actually liked it which is a plus. It was nice and think and has just enough of the right ingredients.

Delicious and convenient!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Stouffers Large Family Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I am a Stouffers girl but loved getting the opportunity to try a family meal. It was a nice convenience to have this on standby for when I had a busy week ahead. It was easy to make and featured simple directions. I love that it gave options to make and could be done in the microwave to start and oven to finish. I’ll bet it would be better if made entirely in the oven but that would have taken 80+ minutes and some nights, I just don’t have that. It was a great size to allow someone like myself to have dinner and then a few more days and lunch & dinner leftovers. I liked the taste and love the amount of meat it had. My only complaints were that it was a little salty and the top layer of noodles got a bit more done in some places. Beyond that, I really liked the cheesy layer and did find it yummy! It reheats well and stays true to tradition that Italian leftovers are yummier the next day! I definitely plan to keep these in my freezer going forward!

Wonderful, ready-made meals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Stouffer‘s ready meal options. They are tasty and so simple to put together a full meal. You always know what you’re gonna get whenever you buy one of their products. There is plenty of servings, even with the smaller family options versus the large options.

Perfect for a quick dinner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this! I'm pretty particular with lasagna (I usually make it from scratch) but this was perfectly sufficient for packaged food. It actually tasted better the second (and third) day. Very easy to prepare: just pop in the oven. It was cheesy and saucy... and a good amount of meat. This is something I would keep in the freezer just in case.

Decent Lasagna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great flavor. Very cheesy. It may not look great but lasagna never does. My only complaint would be that the instructions say 65 minutes to cook when it was really around 90.

Really good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Influenster and Stouffer's for the opportunity to try this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. The box may look small, but this is more than enough to feed two people for a couple of days. It cooks fast, and the cheese did not stick to the film at all. The noodles are nice and firm, sauce has good spice, and for all of the meat this is not greasy at all. I do wish there was a tad more ricotta, but that is a minor critique. I will buy this for sure!

Decent lasagna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The value is good as it feeds a family of 4 easily I just don’t care for the sauce. It’s not a true tomato sauce and has more of a sweet taste than I prefer. I’d buy it again and use it for a quick dinner

Easy and Cheesy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an instant family favorite for us! It was easy to prepare and required almost no effort. Just remove from the packaging and follow a few easy steps. There are generous portions for this size and it was very filling and delicious. It's creamy, it's saucy, and it's cheesy! What's not to love?!

Family Dinner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stouffer’s Family Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce makes the family dinner reliable and convenient. Baking time in the oven is approximately 65-70 minutes. The family size feeds 3-4 people. The taste is very comparable to homemade lasagna. The herb flavored meat and tender texture of the pasta make the flavor rich and well balanced. Before baking one thing I like to do is add extra mozzarella cheese on top to give the lasagna more cheesiness. At the end of dinner if there are any leftovers just leave the lasagna in the supplied foil pan, cover with supplied foil lid and put in the fridge. All of above are why I recommend Stouffer’s Family Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce.

As close to homemade as you can.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pictured is my perfect comfort meal. I got this Stouferr's family sized box of Classic Lasagna with Meat and Sauce for free to try and then give my honest opinion. For those busy, no fuss nights, just grab this Lasagna and put it in the oven for a bit over an hour. Once finished cooking let set for about 5 minutes. I don't enjoy the process of making one. Plus, I always seem to make a Lasagna way bigger than needed and have to much leftovers. I'm loving this lasagna from Stouferr's. Lasagna night made much easier. Out of freezer, cook in oven, let set for few minutes then cut and enjoy. The Lasagna noodles are still a bit al dente, and chewy, they are not mushy. The noodles are layered with a generous amout of a saucy meaty layer, a cheese layer and topped with more meat sauce and cheese. It comes out of the oven hot, bubbly, and cheesey with nice crunchy edges. The family sizes lasagna will give about 5 servings I will definitely be keeping one of these in my freezer for those nights I need a warm, delicious, hassle-free, quick and easy kinda meal.

Stouffer’s Lasagna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed how quick this was to make and the flavor and texture was okay. A lot of the cheese was pulling off and the edges cooked very fast, so doesn’t look the most appetizing. Would maybe buy again if I need a quick and easy meal.

A Decent Lasagna to Start With But Needs Your Own
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I wanted to give this Stouffers Large Family Size Lasagna with Meat and Sauce a try because it’s been a while since I last made one. I used to buy the big party size option when both my boys lived at home. Now that one boy’s gone I figured this size would be better for us to all have some for dinner and a little extra for either another night or for a warm lunch option for my husband to take to work. I always add my own seasonings to all frozen dinners as I find that I like things with way more seasoning than they tend to make. I understand they are trying to appeal to the masses and some don’t like as much seasoning as others. As usual I added some Italian seasonings, garlic and onion powders, black pepper, and a mix of Parmesan and Romano grated shaker cheeses and through it in the oven. As it cooked it filled the house with a wonderful aroma that made us all very hungry and eager to give it a try. I have a new oven so I had total confidence that it would cook evenly and perfectly. But I ended up having to add about 10 extra minutes as the middle was not hot enough and that in turn made the edges get a little darker than I would’ve liked. But it was ok, no harm done, it was still edible. The first thing I noticed was there seemed to be a lot more sauce than I remembered. That is good to help keep it all moist but on the down side made it pretty difficult to cut and scoop out in one nice piece. As you can see in my pics it was kind of sloppy looking. The next thing we all noticed was the bigger chunks of meat. That was nice. Not sure if that is an improvement or if I was buying a different version before. The noodles were soft, it had plenty of sauce, nice chunks of meat, and a good basic lasagna to start from. I know we all wish we had time to make our own lasagna from scratch but not everyone has that time to invest in a weeknight dinner. So I consider this to be a decent item to let you add your own touch to make it to your family’s liking. I do wish the sauce had more flavor though. It does seem pretty bland at least to me. Maybe others don’t mind as much as I do but that is my reason for the 3 out of 5 stars. That being said, I would recommend this frozen meal when you don’t have time to make your own. But it definitely needs some seasonings added to make it taste better. I was given the chance to try this product in exchange for my honest review. Your experience may differ.

Just Alright!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always heard of Stouffer’s but have never tried their products before! I loved the idea that it’s a classic meat lasagna and that it could be cooked in less than 30 minutes in the microwave, making it a quick weekday dinner. The lasagna cooked up nicely and the cheese even browned up in the container. For taste, it was a pretty standard lasagna. I found it to be pretty one-dimensional flavor wise, but it was still pretty tasty. I’d also say that the sodium is really high, which isn’t ideal. Not bad, but not great either.

Plan ahead
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma is killing me this house smells like a freaking restaurant. The time to cook threw me off 90 mins. Ugh. I was starving and then had to wait 90 mins .... so plan ahead. But this is a perfect meal.

Can’t go wrong with Stouffers Lasagna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stouffers Family size Lasagna with meat and sauce is so good. It has lots of sauce and small meat pieces in it, with lasagna noodles. The family size is enough for a family of four.

Tasty, Quick, & Affordable Meal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quick, easy, tasty, affordable meal for a family of 4 or one person to eat for 4 days. I heated it up in a microwave with no issues and it was ready in just a few minutes. You cannot make homemade lasagna for less than the price of this. Actually, it would cost a lot more. Pair with a salad like I did to get a balanced, filling meal.

An easy and inexpensive option for a hearty meal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stouffer’s meat and cheese lasagna turned out pretty good. The noodles held their firmness well and baked through without getting mushy. The flavor was solid for a frozen meal with a distinct tomato flavor. The portion size was enough for 4 people when served with a side salad. The cooking time on the box was accurate, which isn’t always the case with dense frozen meals. If I made it again I would add a little extra mozzarella cheese to the top of the dish during the last few minutes of cooking to maximize the cheese to sauce ratio.

My favorite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our go to lasagna when we want a quick family meal. Out of all the brands I have tried, we always go back to this one. Some of the other brands the pasta can get hard. This one stays soft and it tastes so good!

Taste Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to influenster and stouffers for my complimentary family size lasagna. I like that it had a good taste and texture and full of meat, baking took a little long. But overall satisfied with the flavor and freshness.
