Description
The John Deere Gator XUV is the perfect riding vehicle for your little helpers! They'll drive around the yard in their own John Deere Gator, hauling everything imaginable in their extra large dump bed with opening tailgate. The accelerator provides smooth driving, automatic brakes and increased riding time. The 2-speed shifter with reverse allows them to drive at 2.5; or 4.5; mph on grass, dirt or hard surfaces. Parents will appreciate the adjustable seats and 4.5; mph lockout that prevents beginners from going too fast. 12-volt rechargeable battery and recharger included. Made in USA in our Fort Wayne, Indiana factory using domestic and global components.

A: No, this toy is wired for 12 volt only. The motors and wiring harness are not designed to handle 24 volts.

Tires have zero traction! Gets stuck in grass, concrete, rocks literally anything. Charging the battery is inconvenient because you have to unscrew things to get to the battery. Putting the gator together was a little bit of a pain too, some pieces could’ve came already assembled. Would like it to be more interactive like real buttons instead of sticker buttons on dashboard. Total price is expensive for the quality, so I’m glad I got it on sale. Lots of things could be executed better!

Cheap toy and missing parts
What a waste of time and money. Bought this for our son’s birthday and he was so excited to drive it. We started to put it together and half the parts are missing including the wheel. Yes, that’s right it only had 3 wheels. Customer service was unhelpful and a joke. Please do not waste your money on this garbage toy.

Great toy electric cart!
Perfect young kids who want to imitate their parents. My grandson loves following his dad with his toy lawn mower. The electric cart I got him for Xmas is a hit. It has 2 speeds, goes forward and reverse, and even dumps in back. Highly recommend!

Purchased this for my son’s birthday and started putting it together the night before after we put him to bed. We soon realize it was missing two major pieces, the windshield and the front bumper part and was unable to complete it for him. Had to pack it all back in the box and return it before he saw anything because he would be so upset. We never purchase from this Peg Perego again. Total joke.

My sons both had one they have out lasted any I've ever bought ! My youngest has had 5 ride ons and out of them all this one has out lasted them all ! He is all boy and road it through everything imaginable it was still going when I gave it way to make room for his new ones wish I'd kept it cause all the new ones quit ! Would definitely buy again !!!

Tires split im half in leas then 2 mths
My Kids love this gator, I agree with other reviewers that there is very little leg room for my 4yr old. The worst part about this gator is that the tires split in half after riding it for less than 2 months. This brand Prego, makes a tractor ride on that did the exact same thing. There’s definitely a defect in the design or just cheaply made. Would not recommend.

Although my 2 and 3 year old love to ride on this, the assemble process is nothing short of ridiculous. This was one of the most challenging things my husband and I have ever put together and it was extremely time consuming. Pieces broke in assembly, and the directions were the most pointless piece of the process. Extremely overpriced for the quality as well and no seatbelts. Don’t recommend.

This item is supposed to be for 3-8 yr olds. Mine are 2 and 5 and average size. The 5 yr old barely fits. No leg room even with adjustable seat. Plastic is cheap. Some pieces broke on assembly. No seat belts. The door on the back of the dump truck won’t stay closed. Assembly directions are very vague. I was going to return it but the kids have already rode in it. The 2 yr old likes it but we will have to come up with a seat belt some how. Very overpriced.
