A: Finish® Gelpacs Dishwasher Detergent contains premeasured easy dose "gelpacs". There is no wrapper that needs to be removed before placing the gelpac into your dishwasher.

submitted byBunnyshopper - 9 months agoA: They are individually"wrapped" in a coating that dissolves in the dishwasher, This is also the best dishwasher product out there, however, I have tried this "Orange Scent" Finish dishwasher gelpacs twice now. I bought the 32 count packs TWICE. The first time it turned the inside of my dishwasher ORANGE. I tried cleaning with vinegar and dishwasher cleaner, but only TIME and using the FRESH SCENT blue gelpacs corrected the situation. Now I cannot get the blue gelpacs anymore, they only sell the orange scent or the POWERBALL. The powerball sometimes leaves a granular residue on the bottom of my glassware. So I tried the orange scent again. and HERE WE ARE AGAIN. The inside of my dishwasher has turned orange once again. So I went through the same scenario, my dishwasher is clean but now I am getting residue on my glassware again! WHY CANT FINISH JUST SUPPLY THE STORES WITH THE BLUE GELPACS??? WHEN YOU HAVE A PRODUCT THAT IS PERFECT....LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!! So no I don't recommend the Orange Gelpacs...they discolor my dishwasher, but yes, they do clean the dishes.

I thought I liked these
I used these for about 5 yrs. my dishwasher started to get smelly recently. I do wash the filter monthly and ran a wash recently. I was starting to get black mold by the seals and had the pinky orange mildew in lots of areas. when the wash cycle didn't clear the mild and mildew I scrubbed off most of it and ran it again. It still had some hard to scrub off areas. I grabbed some cascade complete on a whim and after only 2 washes all my seals are clean, the hard to reach mildew is nearly gone! I just assumed it was my hard water and lack of scrubbing. sadly I don't think these are very good.

If you pre rinse/scrub your dishes like I do before putting them in the dishwasher, these pods are fine for sanitization. Occasionally I won’t pre rinse/scrub and these pods clean very nicely. I think the negative comments may have dishwashers that may not be suitable for these pods (I use LG). No residue or any issues! Even on the auto cycle!

I bought these becasue the dishwasher repair person recommended using non powder pods. They got stuck to each other and had to separate them before putting them in the dishwasher. One of them ripped in my hand and the liquid was very strong. I washed my hands right away but my cuticle on the thumb has been hurting and very tender since then. I have few left over that now I use gloves to pull apart (they still break). I will not be buying these anymore. I don't think that they clean as good either.

These do NOT clean at all. Had to run 2x on heavy with powerscrub to get dishes clean. Not a fan of Finish in the first place, gave them a shot over the other Finish tabs and these are 100x worse. Will stick with other brands

I got these thinking it was a good deal, but I’ve had to run my dishwasher twice and there’s often a residue and a smell. I clean my dishwasher at least twice a month. I also use boosters. These don’t clean dishes and often make my dishwasher run louder and harder for barely clean. Don’t waste your money either get the Finish tabs or the Smartly gel dishwasher detergent.

This is the best!
This is my all-time favorite dishwasher pod!!! It gets my dishes cleaner and leaves no residue. I’ve tried many other pods and they all leave cloudy glasses or spots. I also use Finish rinse agent with the Orange pod and together they do the best work!
