  • A: It says vegetarian, not plant-based. Whenever you see "vegetarian" on Morning Star products, know they are going to have eggs and/or dairy. The sausage patties, however, don't have animal products.

    Great taste for vegetarian sausage

    It's a shame you never followed through on your promise to make all MorningStar products vegan. I miss these sausages but I don't eat eggs anymore.

    Changed for the worse

    I have been buying the MS Sausage Links since I can remember. Over 30 years. The consistency is HORRIBLE now! I used to be able to put it i. the microwave and it tasted so good then one day the consistency started tasting/feeling mushy in my mouth. So we cooked it on the stove top and it was okay for a few months but now it's too mushy again. There's some sort of structured ingredient that is getting shorted and I'll never buy this again. so gross and mushy. Disgusting. Luckily this isn't the 1990s anymore and you can find better options out there. There ARE better options. This is Gross now.

    Not good

    I could only eat so much before throwing it away. (I managed to finish 80% of the package) It wasn’t very good. It has a wierd chemically taste. Maybe too much black pepper? I can’t quite put my finger.

    Good breakfast choice

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sausage links were pretty good in terms of flavor. The first time I tested them out I had trouble with making sure the whole sausage was not super hard to eat. I did try both methods of the stove top and the microwave, which is pretty nice, especially when you’re in a hurry you can pop them in the microwave and they’ll still be pretty tasty. I would probably repurchase these again.
