Great for my German Shepherd
I’ve always given this to my German Shepherd, she love it! Honestly any of the pedigree flavors! You definitely know it’s pedigree from the bright yellow packaging. It’s inviting and everyone knows who it is. The food itself is a good filler for my dog. It does not take much to fill her up. It doesn’t slow her down like certain brands, she’s very active. Plus this is a cheaper option for food, which is AMAZING.

Low fat and Calories
Pedigree Healthy Weight dog food is helping my dog lose weight. I like that the food is low fat and low calories per cup. I also appreciate that there is canned dog food to help with his weight loss as the wet food helps keep him satisfied/full longer. I do wish that there were no dyes in the food as the dogs cannot see color and it's unnecessary.

Added Glucosamine in dog food
I started my older dog on this because of the added Glucosamine in the food. She is a dog about 75 pounds and seemed to be having some joint issue with stiffness. This has helped her tremendously. She doesn’t seem to be hurting herself as much now when she goes outside in yard and wants to chase a squirrel and comes back in limping.

This healthy weight made my dog sick. It kept throwing up for two days after the first feed. This was the first time trying this brand bc the price was cheaper. I will never buy it again and certainly do not recommend it.
