What a Surprise!
I was at Brookshire Brothers and was looking for Owens Italian sausage, I saw yours and tried it on a whim. Glad I tried it , it was GREAT! I cooked it in my skillet(out of the skin) then added it to my simmering pasta sauce. I also added sliced mushrooms it was perfect.

Plump, juicy and delicious!
Fantastic sweet Italian sausage. I hadn't had Italian sausage in many years, but after watching an episode of The Sopranos, where they're grilling some outside, I knew I had to get some. I love it! I made it in the oven, as it's too cold outside to grill right now, but it was still fantastic.

The Best!
These are my favorite sausages to use for a family favorite recipe! They are labeled sweet but don't have an overly sweet flavor. The give the slightest hint of spice without being spicy. The also cook well and are even better grilled! Mix them with some peppers and onions over some rice and you have a quick and easy meal.

The best!
These are the best for any type of pasta, either with white sauce or red sauce. I use my kitchen shears to cut them in half lengthwise and then cut off chunks right into the saute pan. Brown them up, add any extra veggies if desired, add the sauce and BOOM! Dinner is served!!

Hello I've been a consumer of your sausages for decades.I dont know what you changed in the sausage but it doesnt taste the same as it did 5 years ago.I used to grill them at my bbq's and my guest would wait for them to be done,not anymore. Please change recipe back to a decade ago,especially the italian sweet,which was my favorite.

My Favorite Sweet Italian Sausage
Sweet Italian Sausage is my favorite kind and Johnsonville is my favorite brand. I cook bell peppers and onions with a little celery powder, salt and pepper in a deep skillet until nearly done. I take that out and brown my sausage per the package instructions. I turn the heat down and add 1/2 cup or a little more of water and put the peppers and onions back in the pan on top of the sausage. I cover it and let that all cook together until the temperature in the sausage is 165 degrees. I don't even need a bun for this meal. It is so good! P.S. The juice from this meal is great over rice. Thank you, Johnsonville.

I love this product, there is nothing to dislike about it. It’s the best tasting sausage I’ve ever with great texture. No matter how I make it, it is flavorful and does not dry out like other sausage even taste great next day. Would definitely recommend this product. Usually I buy products on sale but when it comes to sausage I no longer do that, I will just buy johnsonville regardless if another brand is cheaper or on sale. Best sausage ever

We bought this Italian sausage for a manicotti recipe. We have used other Johnsonville products with good results. This sausage was SO SALTY that we could not eat it, we literally threw away the manicotti dish. So wasteful, not to mention unhealthy. Probably the last time we buy Johnsonville products.
