Disappointed
I used to buy these all the time and loved them. This last few times we were disappointed. The recipe seems to have changed, because they are more like cheap, mushy hotdogs, rather than firm sausages. Likely to stop paying extra for what used to be a tasty treat and might as well stick to cheap hotdogs if that's the taste and texture that continues.

I eat them cold right from the package mostly
these are good. store brands or other brand names are not the same. These taste cleaner but the saturated fat is high. I only buy them once every few months.

Recipe change?
I bought this yesterday & wish I hadn't I have been buying Better Cheddar smoked sausage since early 90's. I haven't had them in at least 6 months. Decided yeah, I need a good Better Cheddar. NOPE!! They're different, normally I have to eat two. The flavor WAS so smoky & good with the pop of cheese. This time, I couldn't get the first one down. The taste is different & I'm not liking them! Whelp, they have lost a customer. To me they are gross.

Where's the Cheese??
All of a sudden, there is almost no cheese in these. They used to have tons, and now I found 3-4 chunks where I used to have a couple of chunks per bite. I slice them lengthwise to grill, and it is blatantly obvious that the cheese is a victim of shrinkflation. I've been using them for years, so don't try to tell me that the cheese "blended in," because it never has before.

Bone Fragments
There are soooo many bine fragments that its hard to chew these. It's happened with multiple packages. I'm not sure what changed, but I definitely don't want sausages with bone bits that hurt my teeth in them, so I guess I have to be done with these no matter how much I used to love them.

Package not easy to open
Easy open package was impossible to open without cutting the entire top off. Very disappointed to send ten minutes trying to open and I ended up cutting them open.

I love these bad boys
i love these things so much. i don't like hot dogs, so these sausages are a total game changer for barbecues and living in a household that goes through a 30 pack of hot dogs in just under a month (seriously, i don't know how they manage it). I can't give a five star review, unfortunately. at least twice per pack i find a bone shard. If y'all can solve that, you've got a customer for life. Also please add baking instructions!

Taste like cinnamon, yuck!
Used to be amazing years ago. Just purchased and grilled this week. Tasted horrid, like there is cinnamon in them. Very disappointing.
