    Good but not very soft

    When I used to live in Hawaii years ago I fell in love with Kings Hawaiian rolls. I thought the bread would be the same soft and sweet texture. This bread is not soft, it is very thick and firm. (Or could be I got a loaf on the stale side?) This is not to say that it is not good. It’s just not an ideal sandwich bread in my opinion. It would do well when making French toast, a panini, or grilled cheese. I think it is something that could hold up while cooking. Also, the price is a bit expensive. You’re not getting a full loaf, it’s only half a loaf. Still, if you’re in the market for something indulgent, you could just eat it by itself. Its just like eating a pastry.
