Q: I live at the beach, looking at the wider tires shouldn’t this bike be good for riding on the beach where the sand is flat?

A: This model does have wider 2.125" tires, not specifically designed for sand. Depending on how loose the sand is any bicycle may struggle.

I absolutely love the bike and the tires are just fine to ride on the beaches here, as we only ride during low tide anyway and the sand quality during that time is hard & packed down in case anyone else is considering this bike. Shout out to a big thank you to Adam who works at the Seaboard St., Myrtle Beach Target store, he is the best bike builder guy they have there even the manager told me this :)

I love the bike! My husband bought me as a surprise, he has been trying to buy me a mountain bike but I wanted something like this. It rides beautifully and love the basket and bell. Love that it has gears !! My husband Had to degrease the seat tube to help the clamp hold the seat up, had to adjust the brakes and pads to wheels, had to adjust the gears a little. He bought this bike in store so we didn’t have to put it together. Overall I am happy with my bike!

Quality control is lacking
Ordered online for pickup at the closest Target that had it in stock which was about an hour away. I made the assumption that picking up from the store they would have already assembled it but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. While I don’t mind assembling the bike, based on the reviews of people receiving damaged pieces when having it shipped to them I particularly made the decision to do in store pickup. That’s my bad…guess it was a bad assumption that the bike would be assembled and sitting in the store (like you normally see). Got it home, assembled the bike, and after assembly one of the tires realized that the front tire is bent just ever enough to prevent the brake from working properly. Either the brake is tightened enough to engage on the tire when needed that it ends up being an issues and catching on the bent wheel as it turns normally, or you loosen the brake pads enough that you can peddle freely but the brake won’t engage on the tire when you pull the handle. It’s very frustrating and also a safety issue. The instructions direct you to not return to the store but contact Huffy for issues with parts. I really was excited about this bike but ended up being letdown. Rolled the dice hoping for no issues with quality thinking a store pickup would be assembled and ended up losing on both items.

Christmas Bike for Out Daughter
Our daughter loved the bike at 1st site. After checking the bike, I could see that the tire were discolored. The bike has white walls but the discolouration is on the black part of the tire for the front and back. The black part has white patches/streaks where it should black. The rear rear is slightly bent which is causing the brakes to rub on the rear. The tires and rear rim needs to be replaced. I am how Huffy will resolve these issue. This was the only bike like this one available in my area.

Don't waste your money or your time. Such a headache
Arrived damaged! Fender was crushed and bent it. Bike came with no instructions either so I had no manufacturer number to call to get a replacement. What's bazaar is before writing this review I read others and so many people had the same exact damage as I did. Do they just keep sending the same broken bike out to people? Needless to say we had to try and put this thing back in the box and bring it back to the store. I don't think I'll be taking my chances on getting a bike from Target again.

Disappointed
We were so excited to get this bike for our daughter for Christmas. I will give it 2 stars for being cute and great colors, however after picking it up one of the tires keeps going flat brand new. I called target customer service and was offered the huffy 800 number to call them about this issue. So frustrating that I didn't receive help from the store I purchased it thru, we are very disappointed.

we've (myself and my 3 older teen children) have spent the last 5 hours trying to put this bike together and it is garbage. it arrived damaged but my daughter wanted it so much that she didn't care. we can't get the brakes to work, the seat won't tighten, there is literally no online support and the directions don't help at all. epic failure...buyer beware (we do highly recommend the Huffy Panama Jack cruiser that we had together in less than an hour)

beautiful bike, horrendous instructions
the bike is great and rides well, my daughter loves it. I would highly reccomend NOT assembling it yourself. The instructions that this came with doesn't describe how to assemble very well and while there's a QR code on the back of the booklet for video tutorials of assembly, there's none specific to this bike. I had issues with the brakes and the gear assembly (which was and still is bent in a bit so it was hitting the back spokes of the tire and the only way to ride it is on the highest gear), which i had to experiment and troubleshoot for hours. PLEASE, PLEASE do yourself a favor and have someone assemble this bike for you.
