The suggested feeding guideline for our Freshpet roasted meals grain-free chicken recipe for dogs who weigh 21-35 lbs is to serve 1 1/2 - 2 1/4 cups per day. You may adjust the serving portions based on your pup's activity levels and energy requirements. Q: My morkie loves fresh pet, I feed him small breed 15 or 16 lbs can he also get roasted meals or should I stay with small bread? Also Inwas told chicken would cause stained eyes is this true

A: My 12 lb toy poodle’s eyes have been staining and “goopy” since changing to the chicken recipe. But, she loves Freshpet. I think I will probably change her over to beef to see what happens! Neither one of us want to change companies. I was going to try another one of their other chicken recipes, but it’s $5 more a bag!! We’ll see what happens with the beef. I hope Freshpet answers your question. I’d like to see what they say. Good luck.

A: Hi, all our foods are designed to be served fresh from the fridge. However, you can choose to freeze our bagged meals upon opening. Keep in mind you will see a slight texture change due to the moisture level in the food. Freezing will not change the nutritional level of the food. Hope this helps! -Jillian

My dog, Major is 11. He eats Fresh Pet twice a day. He has more energy, softer shinier cost and his eyes stopped weeping. The first bite he looked at me and said this is mine? It smells so delicious not like liver. I love treating my dog with Loving Care. It is Fresh Pet all the way.

My dog Jake is a 10 year old Chihuahua, who has always been a finicky eater. He skipped days eating, due to not liking the dry food. I would have to put cheese, treats, etc. on dry food & he would usually eat treats only. I tried this Fresh Pet food & he loves it. He jumps around, excited to eat. He is looking much healthier too!

Our dogs go absolutely wild for the Freshpet Select Roasted Meals and favor this Grain Free Chicken recipe. We use it as a mix in or topper with their usual kibble and I have recommended it to so many friends with picky dogs or older ones who have been rejecting their food. It’s so, so much better than the cans of wet food, even just the smell alone. It smells similar to deli meat in my opinion. It’s so easy to pour out or scoop directly from the resealable bag into their bowls. We have dogs ranging in age from 13 to 2 and in size from 8 to 80 pounds. Everyone is a Fresh Pet fan.
