Kids love them
My granddaughter who is 9 loves this books. She has one in her hands at all times. I think its important that they find a collection that they like becuase it really encourages them to do daily reading. This is a Disney collection so how can you go wrong

Best birthday present. Ever.
I loved the Disney Descendants movie, so my mom bought me Mal's Diary as a birthday gift. I've read it three times in less than a week. The diary includes typed text and handwritten journal-like entries, along with some drawings and pictures. There are lots of references to the movie, including the limo ride. Which is kind of cool, because in the movie, Mal actually writes in the diary DURING the limo ride. She writes a lot about Ben, too. You can tell how she really feels about him from the diary.
