The taste of these are absolutely phenomenal! The packaging is easy to ready and has a wonderful seal that I can just throw it in the freezer. The ingredients are all natural and not a lot of preservative, this is something l look for when buying these products.

A must if you don’t eat pork
Great alternative if you don’t eat pork. I put this in my cabbage and other vegetables and it gives it a really good taste. The ingredients are easy to read making my purchasing easier when comparing to other brands.

It's not all turkey
This sausage could have literally killed me. I have alpha-gal and was cooked a meal with this sausage. I was lucky to only have a mild reaction. It needs to be stated turkey in beef casing. If I'm cooking for myself I've learned to read the label even if it doesn't state that it contains beef or pork, but if someone doesn't know better they just grab what says turkey and assumes it's turkey.

Tasteless
I haven’t had your sausage for quite some time. Never used to disappoint.. this was just awful. And so many additives.. will not buy this again. Quality has certainly gone down since I last purchased your products

They changed. It's mostly a textural difference as far as i can tell. It's squishier & doesn't cut as easily. I'm not sure how to describe it beyond that. My toddler still eats it but I'm looking for a new brand

Usually I love this but...
So my family wanted red beans and rice for dinner. I always use the Hillshire Farms smoked turkey sausage. I bought this on Monday, it's now Thursday and it says it's good until October of 2024. When I started to cut it up, I noticed it was really squishy. Then when I cut the squishy part, it looked like the meat had liquefied all along the outside edge. It was never frozen, and thawed. From store to fridge to trash cause ewww. Not sure what happened, but please do better.

Honestly SO Good. Great Red Meat Subsitute
Okay this stuff has honestly changed my life. I recently went through some health issues which caused me to eliminate red meat. I wasn’t a huge red meat eater but as you know, that definitely eliminate most sausage. I tried this out because I needed a smoked sausage in a jambalaya and it was amazing. My family thought it was pork until I told them it was turkey! I have since tried this in a lot of recipes—pastas, salads, mixed with veggies, shower pans, etc. and it has never let me down. It is always stocked in my fridge and we have it at least once a week. Thanks so much for creating this product and making it both a healthier and just as tasty option!

Tasty, quick, easy, dinner base
Tasty, easy to build a quick meal around. Longer shelf life so easy to store in the refrigerator for nights when I need to come up with a quick meal. I used this with a sheet pan meal, turned oven to 425F, sliced the turkey sausage, added a bag of frozen broccoli, a bag of frozen carrot coins, quartered an onion, partially microwaved a couple potatoes and chopped those, tossed everything with a small amount of olive oil and Mrs. Dash and baked uncovered for 25 minutes and it was a quick, easy dinner.

Flavor was good. I got it to chop up to add to a veggie stir fry. It holds it shape well once chopped up and it took on the flavors I added to the stir fry well. Also got it on sale so value was good!

Very versatile
I really love to use Hillshire Farms Turkey Smoked Sausage for breakfast. I slice it up and brown it with some finely chopped onions and then add scrambled eggs! So good and my kids eat it all up!
