  • A: noosa is not lactose free. Like other yoghurts, noosa is fermented with bacteria that breaks down lactose into lactic acid and varying flavor compounds. While there is a reduction in lactose during this fermentation, it is by no means complete and there is residual lactose in our product. While noosa does contain lactose, we do sometimes get comments from lactose intolerant individuals that they consume noosa with no issues, but this is something you would need to discuss with your doctor on an individual basis.
